But as a cosmetologist, it feels like 400 and 400 setting feels like 500. I hate the buttons. I wanna keep it on the lowest setting bc 400 I smell my hair frying and I keep accidentally touching them bc of the location. It does work good. I would say if u have any blondes that are compromised, don’t use this one. I have the older wavytalk with the slide button. That one is much better. Heat is just right but the bristles over time are falling out. I even got them stuck in the palm of my hand when I tried to clean the hair off.
