I am so impressed with these glasses. The style in the purple color is lovely and not too bright. The quality is appreciable and the attention to detail in the construction and packaging is a pleasant surprise. The lenses are crystal clear, the fit is dependable, they don't slide down or fall off. Also, they are comfortable--they sit nicely over the ear and are almost imperceptible against the scalp. They are easy to wear, no stretching the arms of the glasses open when putting them on will ensure an extended lifetime of use. Honestly, I did not expect such great value as the price is so reasonable. I will be purchasing another pair in a different color.

I do like these glasses but these are two things you need to know before purchasing them. I will buy them to put by my bed to read things at night but that's the only place I use them. Here's why. First, they are not slimlines as they show in the picture. They are much bigger on your face and not the most attractive. So, I use them where no one will see them. Second, they are not sturdy and easily break. They are not glasses that you could carry in your purse or use at work in a busy environment. I've tried both of those things and one slight move - snap, crackle, POP! I know both of those things seem like I wouldn't recommend them but I do. They are comfortable, light weight, and make it easy to see because they cover your entire eye. They are just meant for light and easy care. Hope that helps someone.

I do really love the shape, color and fit! Stylish and weightless. My complaints are - the color leave blue markings on the bridge of the nose for the first few days of wearing, and the glasses is very fragile - the frame was broken in a month:( Please, improve these readers and I will buy them again!

They are cute, and fit my face perfectly, but i have ordered 4 pairs - i know, right? - and every single one of them has broken. It's the side pieces; they are made of really thin plastic, and they literally just snap off. I put the first 2 pairs on top of my head, and thought maybe that was the issue, but the last 2 pairs i have never worn that way and they both broke within a couple of months. Amazon must know they are junk becasue the return window is shorter than usual.

What's more to be said. I've got a small face and needed this size frame. I came back to buy two more pair, as they do tend to walk away on those long arms. One color I'd chosen was sold out, but I picked another, now I have these in 3 colors. Their sturdy, w/ no noticeable distortion even to the edges. Colors are matte rather than shiny, unexpected, but I liked. They are smaller (check the size before ordering) why I ordered them, they fit and stay on with no slippage. Comfortable on nose and ears...what's not to like?

I wanted a bunch of readers in different rooms so I didn't have to go running; I bought 4 pair of the OCCI reading glasses and they're all different, all beautiful. Some readers (even expensive ones) have plastic that is distorted, but these OCCI's have plastic that is crystal clear, almost as clear as glass. They ship with a protective plastic covering on the lenses. They fit perfectly with enough tightness so that they don't slip down your nose. I particularly hate glasses that have those huge "C" curves on the stems so you actually have to put the glasses on fit your ears into your stems. These stems are shaped with a slight curve downward, not a C curve, so you can slip them off and on quickly. I have an $800 pair of Theo readers from an optometrist, and these OCCIs are so much better. (Even though one eye is 225, and one is 200, I bought the 200 magnification and they're just fine). Beautiful packaging in that the lenses are covered in plastic, the entire frames are wrapped in nonscratchy paper, put into a black pouch. With most purchases you get a glasses rope, and all purchases contain a fabric eyeglass cleaner, all in a black box.

Looked for clarity in lens. These are okay. Bought a pair of Foster Grant ..same strength. Much clearer..same price.

Needed a pair of readers and ordered these because I loved the look. At first I didn’t like them and continued to use a pair I purchased from Target but after wearing them for a few days they are now may favorites. I replaced the brand I purchased from Target often but I have haven’t had any issues with this pair and they are flexible which allows me to place them on my face with one hand.
