It is very good. I made salves and perfume and have had many many persons say the love the texture. I wasn't aware of any grading of Shea butter. If it's "graded" like essential oils are, I don't hold much stock into it. I've researched the grading system and numerous sites ( which I can find for you if you're interested), say it's more or less the seller branding their own product as "grade A." There is no official entity, government or otherwise, that has been given this power. The American Shea butter institute, has established a grading system and they will test your samples and grade it based on their criteria for a small fee. They have an informative website that, based on their criteria, would grade te Shea butter I purchased from this seller, as "grade A." **Q: Is any other oils mixed in the shea butter?** A: It was advertised like it was raw and nothing added. I feel weird about the chemicals leaching into my skin. So I did some research and saw that Shaw butter is really good. I did some investigating and came across this particular brand and I am so happy I did. This is the real deal, fresh and pure quality. The smell is exactly how it should smell and the texture is really creamy. I have had other shade butters in the past that were grainy, had balls in it, we’re dried out, smelled weird etc. this is by far the best I have ever tried. I will be coming back for more when I run out.Just a tip: I live in the Arizona desert and my skin dries out so bad even with thick lotions. I found the BEST solution to this. After my shower, while my skin is damp, I put jojoba oil all over my body. I let that absorb for about five minutes and then put shea butter on top to seal everything in. It is a little greasy at first, but once it absorbs I have never had smoother skin. I am so happy I found this! I really recommend it and I am not one to recommend products Willy nilly.
