Excellent quality fan. Very powerful and extremely quiet. I use it for makeup air in my cigar lounge. Works amazing, only wish it had a wireless remote.

I originally purchased two of these fans to put in my basement windows and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately one started making noise weeks after purchasing and I believe it was a bearing. I did not return it but instead purchased a third fan. The original fan and second fan work great, my bad for not just returning the first one.

Update: The seller (Swnite) reached out to me because of this review and gave me a full refund, which I appreciate. I may have just received a bad one. The packaging looked smashed. Not the Amazon packaging, but the actual fan box. When I first turned it on it made a god awful grinding noise because the fan blades were rubbing against the cage. After it got up to speed the grinding noise stopped. Left it on all night and in the morning it was making a lot of noise. I went to the hardware store and spent $8 on longer bolts and rubber spacers. I took the fan apart and installed the spacers so the fan blade wouldn't rub on the cage. The fan then worked fine at max speed. It still makes noise at lower speeds which it kind of normal for these variable speed fans. After using it for a few days I've found that it begins rattling and making bearing noise after a few hours of being on. I don't mind the normal fan hum, but the rattling and chirping is obnoxious.

I use this in my bathroom to exhaust the humidity during and after my showers since I do not have any source of ventilation at all. This dries out the air very nicely and doesn't cause any condensation on my bathroom walls after I take a hot shower. I like the different levels of speed and power, and the highest level is strong enough for my need of usage. It fits perfectly in the frame of my window too.

This is perfect for what I needed. I use it to move air through our basement and exhaust it through a window. Super powerful and very quiet unit.
