This is a 140Watt lithium ion battery replacement for black and decker 40v battery. It is compatible with all 40 volt black and decker cordless tools. It charges with black decker 40v Max chargers. This battery is a good choice for Black & Decker 40-volt power tools. A four light power indicator displays remaining battery capacity giving ample warning when it’s time to replace it with a spare battery and recharge this one. This battery requires a 40-volt charger which is not included with this battery. it will not fit the common 20-volt charger. It recharges fully in about 3 hours. It kept my power tool up and running for about 60 minutes of continuous use. For those with B&D 40-volt power tools and a 40V charger, this should help keep things up and running. It is priced appropriately for the quality of this battery. It is nice to have a back up.

I have a Black and Decker leaf blower and weed trimmer that use a 40v battery. This OEM model works seamlessly with those products. It fits the charger I have without issue and holds a good long charge (like the old batteries did when they were new). I'm really pleased with this and like knowing that when one runs out, I have another one charging or charged to finish the job. The price point makes this a decent value too.
