Race to The Finish Marble Run Game

Bought for my 9 year old sons Christmas. He already has one and wanted a 2nd to add on, as he loves it so much. Follow the ideas on the box or construct your own. Hours of endless fun. A high quality, educational toy. Would highly recommend.

Bought for my 2.5 year old who loves playing with this, whilst being supervised, given the marbles. The building blocks are v clever and I can imagine that he’ll enjoy playing this for some time as the configuration of the building blocks is constantly changeable and can become more and more complex.

I got this for an Autistic child, he loved it and had lots of fun using it, he loved the way the marbles travel and spin around the track. Good quality and was worth the money.

03/03/2021: updated my rating from 2 to 4 star. found another of these for £20 from Amazon wharehouse deal so we bought it and I love this toy. We build it on wooden floor and although it can still be knocked over but not as easily as it could be on carpet. It’s very well made toy and I love that I can make different combinations and expand it by buying other marble runs from this company. I do wish that hape would sell some parts separately because hape’s bigger marble runs aren’t cheap. Another annoyance is that marbles go everywhere- hape do sell catchers separately for £10 which I think is expensive for plastic catchers. We build a circle with the curved part of wooden train track to help catch the marbles. 31/01/2021: I don’t know how to rate this toy. I have hape XCELLERATOR E6007 marble run and thought I could extend it by buying this and a few individual pieces like the skate park. I bought this toy in Amazon’s wharehouse deal at £18 knowing that the box would arrive damaged (but I am not interested in the box, I wanted the toy). I found that the box was already opened (which I knew would happen) but it was missing so many things - had only 2 out of 30 marbles arrived and a few of the cubes were missing. I thought it was a joke. How can Amazon sell it as ‘used : GOOD CONDITION’ toy ! I love hape and Amazon but this is not on. I have bought several things on Amazon in their wharehouse deal but recently found that things are arriving damaged or incomplete to the point of no use. ** update Amazon refunded. I am relieved. I will check from time to time if the price of this item ever falls around £20 (Its fluctuates a lot here so beware) and buy it then.

It’s easy to build but also very easy to knock down…I wish it was abit more secure as a slight knock on the blocks makes it go tumbling down.

this could have been a great product, however as the parts don't connect securely, it falls over over at the slightest touch, so if your child reaches over to put a marble in, it all falls down, very disappointing as wanted to buy wood rather than plastic!

This marble run has the right amount of pieces to challenge my 5 year old, without leaving her to feel overwhelmed. The pictorial instructions encourage her to follow the the step by step guidance with minimal help from me.

This is absolutely fanatastic. I bought it for my 18 month old (I’ve not left him with the marbles) but he absolutely loves helping me put it together. Very excited about adding to it.

Je découvre la gamme Quadrilla de Hape. Très belle qualité, très solide, cher mais nous ne somme pas déçu. Mon fils de 3 ans se régale. A cet âge, la construction est pour les parents : le manuel explique très clairement comment faire 3 circuits, ensuite il faut réfléchir pour en faire d'autres... Pas trop difficile et vraiment adictif même pour un adulte. Ce jeu va durer et accompagner mon fils plusieurs années.

In general - it is a joy to find a toy made predominantly of wood which gives such pleasure and frustration to both young and old. These pieces, added to a relatively basic set allowed us to construct more complex runs and proved well worth while. It is certainly an "educational" toy as well as highly satisfying and amusing. Best to build it on a firm base (not the carpet) and prepare to chase the escaping marbles!
