Not all Grado headphones are assembled in the US, the GW100 is made in China.

Is it really china? My older gw100's are made in the US (though i suspect the bluetooth components are made in china)

yea, its still works great but think it would have been much better for them to redesigned one of their premium wired sets to use a blue tooth dongle like the SR325X instead of it.

I have a big head, can the band be bent at all so it's not crushing my skull?

There is a metal band that runs through the headband and can be bent to loosen or tighten the pressure on the head
