This is 100% river sand . It's not industrial waste. Wonder why some have given bad rating. It's not washed , you need to wash it and dry before using for sure. I am satisfied.

Big no It is not a fine sand ...lots and lots and lots of big and medium sized granules .I literally had to serve it twice with a fine server.

This sand wasn’t suitable for aquarium. I washed it multiple times and then moved it in my aquarium yet the water was muddy. It’s suitable for gardening but not for aquarium…!

Its all wet sand inside, For aquariums, have to clean, else your aquarium will get completely cloudy. Had to rinse 30-40 times in a bucket, before adding it to aquarium. once cleaned its good.

Never buy this product, the sand is not clean and have to wash atleast 50 times to make it in a usable conditiin. I baught this sand for aquarium and turn out be my biggest mistake

I get river sand unlimited for free.. beside the ganga river where the sand extraction goes on.. Crystal clear sand.
