I've tried many. This one is the best for a quad notebook. It's a gorgeous ivory color. The quad graph isn't heavy so as to be distracting. Takes limited water color work (let dry though). Copic markers will bleed through, gel pens don't, ball points don't, Pentel color liners barely will, pentel microns won't. It lays flat so you can utilize the whole page and the pages won't rip out from repeated opening and closing. Quality front covers and elastic bands for spacing. I've had it for 5 months now as a calendar/ brain dump and it looks like I just bought it. Even the elastics don't look over stretched. This is the best of the cheap journals for brain dumps and planning. You need to get a proper sketch pad (300 gsm) if you want to water color journal or paint.

Love the thickness and quality of paper. A good amount of sheets compare to most. Great for note taking and Journaling. Smooth paper but durable. Cover is durable and color true to its photo. Takes stickers well and ink writing. Value for money

Love this journal! The dotted pages aren't obtrusive when actually written on for journaling, but provide a really good grid for layouts. It's fairly sturdy if treated with care. It's been to work and back with me several times and survived a bit of rough-housing! Pages feel a bit more substantial than most journals. Mild bleeding for heavier inks. Probably not great for pens with hard nibs, but standard pens, definitely!

The 100 GSM paper is thick enough that my ink doesn’t bleed through. The hard cover is durable and the graph lines are perfect for both engineering work and organized journaling.

I rarely write reviews immediately. I opened this notebook about 10 minutes ago, and I am VERY pleased. My first book comes out this spring, and the main notebook I used for the long, long process, was by Miquelrius. A4 size, hundreds of pages, sections, with a sort of plastic cover. They don't make them anymore! It's been difficult to find a notebook that is large, has over 200 pages, and has nice grid paper. I am ready to shout this one from the rooftops – it ticks all my boxes. I am not a fountain pen user, so I can't speak to that, but my hand writing in my standard pilot 700 pen looks great on this paper. The cover is heavy. It comes with a nice ribbon for a bookmark and a bunch of colored tabs and even a little ruler that you can snap into the spiral binding. I was hesitant because I figured at this price point, it was not going to be great. And I feel absolutely satisfied that I have found the notebook I need as homebase for my next book project. Thank you, EMSHOI! You are filling a major gap in the notebook market.

I really love this journal and am using it as my planner this year. The pages are thick with little to no bleed through, which makes writing and planning enjoyable. The layout is versatile and works well for customizing a planner setup. I would love the pages to be a bit thicker, and it would be even better if there were an option to use it as a disc system so pages could be moved around as needed. Still a great journal overall and very close to perfect.

This notebook is perfect for a household journal and keeping up with various tasks. There are a lot of pages, so I imagine I'll be using it for a good year or more.The spiral makes it easy to write on one page at a time without having to take up your whole lap, although it does make it slightly difficult to create open spreads (such as calendar pages, which require both sides of the open notebook). That's a minor inconvenience though.I like that it comes with a matching ribbon for a bookmark, and I can add or remove as many extra ribbons as I like. Personally I prefer to use sticky tabs, but it's great to have options.The pocket in the back comes with stencils I probably won't use, but they're cute. I wish the pocket was deeper so they wouldn't fall out all the time though. It makes me not want to keep anything in the pocket.The removable ruler is the best! I use it for drawing straight lines in the notebook and then put it back in easily.Overall it's a great notebook and I'm excited to keep using it!

Loved this notebook! Will buy it again! extremely sturdy, with nice features. Also loved the color options! The binding is pretty solid.
