Distil your day Distil Union Wally 5.0 Distil Union Wally Sleeve Review: This MIGHT be the one - I've been struggling to find a nice, slim wallet that can sort of "do it all." I've actually been using a thick elastic band as my wallet, which honestly does the job when holding my ID and three cards. However, problems quickly arise when introducing cash or additional cards since that slimness quickly goes away and, as you can imagine, an elastic band won't 100% securely hold everything in one place. After some browsing on desertcart, I found this Distil Union wallet. I was actually looking into Bellroy's Hide and Seek wallet, but this Distil Union one seemed like a better take on the traditional bifold wallet. I was hesitant to get a bigger wallet since the actual materials and folding of the leather makes bifolds thicker by default. Either way, I wanted to give this one a try before jumping to any conclusions. Definitely impressed with its ease of use and even though it's the same shape as a bifold, it still will force you to use what you truly need. The two pull tabs are a nice touch since I actually love wallets with this feature (I used to own a Huskk wallet but that brand does not seem to be around anymore), and the colored tabs is a nice detail. I use the red tab for three debit cards and the black tab for two credit cards. To get them out, it's suggested to squeeze the sides before pulling the tab. However, I found it easier and faster to simply pull the tab, which pushes the cards out. With this method, though, my main concern would be how long the leather will hold up from the cards constantly pushing and rubbing against the leather. I guess time will tell! The laser-cut money clip works nicely. I tested out five U.S. bills and they easily fit as expected. There is also one slot on each side when this wallet is opened, which allows for one card each side. You can probably have two, but it will take space away from the pull-tab slots. I placed my DL in one slot and left the other one open for a quick-access slot for temporary cards (e.g. hotel keys, parking tickets, etc.). The leather is soft and nice to the touch, and all the stitching looks good, especially the double-stitched corners where the most bending and movement will be. This wallet has RFID technology, which isn't the biggest dealbreaker for me since these type of crimes seem to be so uncommon. This is more of a "nice to have" rather than a "need to have." Lastly, the magnets (or their MagLock feature) is also fun to open and click close. The magnets are all placed in the top center, thus, they should not affect credit card strips at all. Most payments nowadays are either from a digital wallet or the chip anyways, thus, credit cards strips are becoming less common. Nonetheless, their website says that their magnets were designed with this in mind. I'd like to believe a wallet company's best interest would be to NOT have magnets ruining their customers' cards! The pull tabs also have small magnets in them, which prevents the little tab from flopping around when the cards are pushed all the way down. All these magnets hold the wallet together, which prevents any cards from coming out accidentally. Overall, this is a great wallet for the money (especially their current 20%-off sale at the time of this review), and while it's not the SLIMMEST wallet out there, this is a nice "in between" for when you want to carry less cards and some cash but also not having a huge brick when placed in pockets. Review: Checks ALL of my boxes for a great wallet! - Let me begin by saying, I have very specific considerations for a wallet - RFID, slim, “adult” looking, holds all of the cards and cash I carry, will NOT allow cards to slip out, no matter how it’s oriented or shaken. I had a slim bifold leather wallet where the card slots were oriented to the center of the wallet when it was closed, so cards could not slip out. That wallet became broken down over years. It still functioned perfectly, but looked a bit lumpy. I then discovered that that company didn’t offer the same wallet any more. Thus began the hunt for a new wallet. I tried two bifold wallets with magnetic closure by another brand and was disappointed by the “magnetic” edges which weren’t strong enough to keep the wallet closed and the cards in it. THIS wallet is perfect. I carry a total of nine cards (DL, credit cards, others) and a small amount of cash. The magnets on this wallet hold it closed WELL! Recently I carried a public transportation metro card in my wallet while traveling. I was able to add it to the inside sleeve, have the magnetic closure still work effortlessly, and leave the card in the sleeve, open the wallet to place it flat on the metro scanner, and it scanned perfectly. (It did not scan if the wallet was closed, because of the RFID blocking material). In short, it holds my usual stuff easily, has some capacity for at least one more card, and the magnetic closure works perfectly on the bifold aspect of the wallet, ensuring cards cannot slip out, no matter the wallet’s orientation or how aggressively it is shaken or dropped. Nice and slim. Well made. Outside sleeves work perfectly and the magnetic closure works perfectly there as well.

So good! Please read!
I love this wallet. Coming from a traditional bifold this is great. Holds all my cards and the cash clip is great for around 25 bills. This is perfect if you have to break a hundred or get lots of cash tips regularly like I do. The VentureTek material is very soft yet rugged- I work outdoors on the ocean and have seen no signs of wear even when it gets a bit wet with salt water. The pull strap system is extremely well designed and doesn’t take much to get used to. I carry this in my back pocket like I’m accustomed to with my old bifold and it carries great! It’s small enough to be a front pocket wallet but I carry many other things in my pockets and am a creature of habit. It also magnetizes to my cars phone mount and many other magnetic devices. Don’t sit on the fence about this one, the cheap knockoffs do not come close to this level and quality. 100% recommended!

Great Front Pocket Wallet
For the last few years, I owned a Fantom Wallet. I loved the design and durability, but after a while, the credit cards did start to slide out a bit, and having to fold my bills a couple of times to fit under the clip was cumbersome for taking them in and out. My wife always disliked the Fantom Wallet, and for Christmas, she gifted me the Wally Bifold 5.0 with Maglock. Overall, I am very happy with this wallet. I love the magnetic closures, being able to sort cards by usage on each side, and having the current "in-use" credit card and driver's license quickly available in one of the two inside card slots next to my bills. The craftsmanship of the Bifold Wallet is excellent, and so is the feel in my hand. Only time will tell about how durable it is, but leather will usually get better over time. I recommend this wallet to anyone looking for a small form factor wallet that securely holds many cards and bills. This was a great Christmas gift for me.

Better than expected
Just bought it but love the size and how small it is. Seems to be high quality but we'll have to see how it holds up

Amazing wallet, even better warranty!
This has to be one of the best wallets I have ever purchased. The leather feels so nice and I can't believe how slim it is with all of my cards in it!! I have had a ton of compliments and have been asked where I got it from. My brothers rescue pup loved it so much she decided to chew it up for me on a recent visit. I reached out to their support and was surprised by their 3 year worry free guarantee!! I already have the replacement ordered and it's only been a couple days since the incident. I will definitely be looking into purchasing more of their products in the future.

Strong Magnets, Deep Pockets
Well made product. I found the magnetic closure system with deeper pockets less appealing compared to my old classic that I’ve nearly worn out. I felt like the magnets at the opening of the pockets prevent the cards from dropping all the way into the pocket which conflicts with the design. Pushing the cards all the way down past the strong magnets into the pocket requires a technique I don’t want to develop so I returned the 5.0 for a classic.

Don't fear change
I never used a money clip type wallet before so i was hesitant about this design. Now that i've had it for 2 months--- I will never go back to a wallet. Due to the slim design cards are stacked, so they don't crack and split like they did in my wallet. The cards pop-up neatly and are easy to return back in the "pouch". The magnetic closure design holds the paper securly inside.

great wallet
I really like this wallet .. leather is soft and feels good in my hand.. Love the small size ...Love the easy access to my cards , love the money clip too. but It is too expensive in my taste.. I wish i can get some credit.. One thing that scares me .. is the magnets that may erases / demagnetized my credit cards ?? .. other than that I recommend this wallet...
