Definitely reduced the sound level from my woodworking power tools. I used a db meter app on my iPhone and was able to confirm the noise level outside the garage was reduced, which I am sure my neighbors appreciate.

Putting the finishing touches on my mini recording studio. I ordered these adhesive soundproofing wall panels to complete my setup. I know that soundproof is a relative term, so I am hoping just to reduce the overall sound through a shared wall with my future neighbor. These panels are hefty, nearly twice the thickness of some other panels I was going to use. The panels come in two 12" X 12" tiles with a common backing. Very handy if you are installing a row of tiles, but also nice if you need a. single tile you can easily separate the tiles by cutting through the backing paper with a razor knife. In fact, I cut all the tiles with a razor knife and these are very easy to work with. The paper backing simply peels away in one piece and the adhesive seems to be very well suited for the task. These tiles also come with small double sided adhesive tabs for a less permanent installation in case you may want to more easily remove the tiles in the future. These are applied to the backing paper in each corner of the tile. I wasn't all that fond of the original white tile color for my needs, so I applied a thin coating of a darker interior house paint. The paint penetration is very minimal so I'm confident there is little or no adverse impact on the sound reducing capabilities of the tiles, and now they look great.

These are easy to install on a smooth, flat surface. They hang with stickers, not hardware, so the wall must be clean, smooth and dry. It will not work on textured walls without first sanding the texture smooth and removing all dust. Once you get them installed, they work well. My son uses them to keep the sound down from his band practice. You put them in the room where the sound generates from, not the room where sound is unwanted. For example with the band practice, you put them in the room where the band is practicing. I like them. They work well. Each panel unfolds to double the size, so don't let the small box fool you into thinking the panels are too small. I would buy them again

It works in terms of acoustic when recording but in terms of sound proofing its not the greatest.

I found these a good deal more efffective than the smaller pieces you can get as sets. I like the size, and they look pretty good. Worth trying if you're having sound issues.

These have been great in my husband’s gaming room. We don’t have carpet or much decor up yet, so his voice carries very easily in the house. Quality on these seems really nice, and no issue with the adhesive yet. Putting them up was nice and easy, and the look isn’t bad. If you need something to help with noise, I definitely recommend these.
