It can get a little messy especially if you don’t know what you’re doing lol but with a little practice that gets better. Very easy to use, cures quickly! The light does have to be plugged in when using as it’s not rechargeable nor has option for batteries. I bought some dyes to go with it and as long as the resin color isn’t too dark, the curing process is as fast and simple. Working on layers also helps! Love the silicone mixing cups it comes with. Great price too, I saw some of the supplies at the craft store and honestly, what you get with this kit would have been $45-50. I can’t speak on durability as I haven’t had it for that long, but I do appreciate that there isn’t a strong smell to it!
