Excellent product
Excellent product but I would have preferred a smaller opening to the top, reducing the chance of over use.

Expensive but will last a long time.
I find that this works well. People say that you can just use auto window cleaner but I've not tried this. This Trend fluid is very expensive but I find that I only need a few drops each time that I sharpen so the bottle should last a long time! I've taken 1 point off because of the excessive cost.

Different packaging
I first saw this product being used by James Hamilton at Stumpy Nubs and it is fantastic. The down side of it was the first bottle I got only had the cap on it that is used to drip the liquid on to the diamond stone and it leaked so I lost a lot of the liquid. The second bottle had a top that sealed and a second top for applying the liquid to the stone. I am very happy with the product

I can only assume it works as claimed. It's caused no harm so far.
It's supposed to be a non-rusting liquid to use with diamond sharpening stones, in preference to water or oil based lapping fluid. So far, no complaints. Very hard to say whether it's good or bad . I just took the word of a number of online woodworking experts who swear by it, and I can't afford to buy two stones to compare performance against other fluids.

Must be made of liquid gold, but it works.
I can't believe I spent what I did on some liquid in a bottle. That said, it does what it claims and makes sharpening quicker, easier and doesn't have the same effect as water can with causing rust on your expensive diamond plates from letting metal sit a little too long. You don't need much at all, just a spray or two is good enough on a fine stone. What I received is not like in the photo though, I got it with a spray top rather than a pop top lid. I hope it results in using less, just don't waste it with overspray that doesn't end up on the bench rather than the stone.
