Review: Good no-nonsense wellie - I spend most of my (now retired) days in wellingtons in the garden. So they get heavy usage and have to cope with West Wales weather. I've tried various makes, including Hunter's, but these, the cheapest I've bought, have lasted better than all the others and been more comfortable. I have had to buy a replacement pair after over 2 years of daily wear - the Hunters didn't last a year. The downside to them is not much in the way of insulation on cold days (not been a problem with the current climate) and the tread being on the large side, leading to pebbles getting trapped along with mud. But overall, good value for money.
Review: Good solid quality boot at a reasonable price - Bought this second pair of wellington boots for my son to stop him wearing my pair of boots. They are extremely comfortable especially if you have wide feet & have a good thick sole with good grips on them. They are extremely hard wearing & I have had 2 pairs of these wellingtons over the years. They get a real battering as I use them virtually every day during the Winter months & when it's wet weather which is our country is fairly often regardless of what time of year it is. So, I would definitely recommend these wellington boots as they are good quality & the price is extremely good.

**Q: Do these boots have steel toe caps?**
A: No they don't. They are a heavy duty agricultural wellington boot. But they are of a very good quality.

A: Soft toe. Ideal walking boots or day long wear.

**Q: Do these boots stand up on their own, please, or ‘flop over’ ?**
A: These boots do stand up on their own. Only gripe I have with them is I've had to put some insoles in them. As there is a 'crease' of material on the foot beds, that may of led to blisters. I am a size 12 and size 12 fit OK.

**Q: Sizing. I'm between 3 and 4 but want to put an insole in the boot with thick socks. What size do I need please?**
A: Hi i'm a 9.5, and get size 9 which fit perfect with 2 pair of sock on . Hope this helps.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Wellingtons, reasonable life (3 years)

I'm writing this review in May 2023. I bought these in August 2020, and I'm about to order a new pair as a split has developed in the upper left side (near big toe) of the right-hand boot, and this is now letting in water from dewy grass. I feel this is pretty good wear for the many miles of daily dog-walking I have done in just shy of 3 years. They've been comfortable and a little large for my size 10.5 feet but I need that to allow for an arch support plus a insole liner for warmth and support. As mentioned by one or two other reviews the large tread under the heel often traps mud/gravel/pebbles, but I guess you have to live with that. I'm happy enough to order the same boots as I think they've given good VFM.
