The part of the watch that looks like it is made out of metal is actually metal! Casio, Timex and lots of other brands have now started making their watches with plastic cases/bezels and even though they look like metal they are just coated with a shiny plastic rubbish. I’m not keen on plastic straps and so I have ordered a leather strap to fit on it instead. So basically, it is a well made watch, with a large display and illuminates well in the dark when the light button is pressed. You can go into the setting and either have the pedometer steps in large in the centre and the time in small at the bottom or the time in large in the centre and the steps in small at the bottom.
