The base rubber melts and stains tiles after a year of use
Writing this review after using this item for more than a year now. The mat serves the purpose in kitchen well - sufficiently thin so that it does not block the bottom drawer, good grip etc), however is prone to staining and its hard to clean stains after wards. So over time it starts looking dirty. Now after a year we are seeing that the rubber underneath is melting and staining the kitchen tiles. So the item is no longer usable.
