    Not what they used to be

For the first time shopping on Amazon I am really disappointed. I bought a pair of CAT casual boots about 4 years ago, and they have been the most sturdy and comfortable footwear I had had for a long time. Needless to say they have worn well, but the time had come to change them. I wouldn't normally buy shoes online "just in case" they don't fit. But I couldn't't seem to find CAT boots on the High Street. Took the plunge and ordered these last week. I'm normally 10 1/2, but had to choose 11. They arrived. They look alright until closer inspection. The stitching between the sole and the upper is not top quality. The feel of the the leather uppers is a bit hard. All in all, not ideal. However, I do like the design of these CAT boots. they are nowhere near as well made or as comfortable as my previous ones. I wore them out a couple of times, so can't return them now. Shame. I'm not happy.

These look great, they’re just lacking a bit in comfort for me. They’re quite a narrow fit, and the soles are thinner than I would have liked. But they’re pretty good value for money.

Quality boot  very happy , however colour is a lot darker than advertised hence the 4 star. But being honest I prefer the colour to the marketable tan advertising.
