Superb model railway track contact properties
This grease is superb on model railway track but first clean thoroughly. The grease is to be used sparingly and lasts for ages.

Specialist stuff.
Used on bare metal to metal surfaces bolted together. Tested and conductivity increased between all components of the fuel bowser ttailer to improve the earthing.

Beware
Beware! Rubber tyres slip, my tender driven Evening Star could not pull away even with no coaches attached. I ran another loco for an hour and it seems better. The grease itself is NOT conductive (tested by inserting multimeter probes into the pot) I believe what it is supposed to do is fill microscopic inperfections preventing arcing and threfore stopping carbon buildup on the tracks. There other far cheaper and proper conductive compounds around that perform better.

Track cleaning
I have tried this on half my railway. And there was a noticeable difference my loco ran smoothly and on slow speeds .so definitely doing the rest of track

NON-Contact Grease
This should say Electrical NON-Contact Grease. Doe not use this on your rail rack it is non conductive and will make running a nightmare,it will collect all the dust and will collect on your wheels. Who ever started this myth should be HUNG DRAWN AND QUARTERED.
