I have it set to stay on for 60 seconds after motion is detected and it works well. This light has 3, AA rechargeable NiMH batteries. It will NOT run all night on 3 AA batteries. You would be lucky to get 2-3 hours from it. It is bright and works reliably for what it is intended for. I may buy another to put inside my shed with the solar panel mounted to the outside wall. Sensitivity of the motion detector could be better.
