This pump will do everything. It pumps up and deflates storage bags, travel bags, air mattresses, camp pillows, and, I am sure, much more. It is powerful and lasts a while if fully charged. It is a little heavier than other travel pumps, but the quality seems to be a lot higher than those lighter pumps.

Given the small size of this product, which was one of the reasons i purchased it, I was skeptical of it's performance. When it arrived, I used it to inflate a camp mattress, which was the primary purpose I purchased the product for. The mattress was a Thermarest and I was happy to see that one of the several adapters fit the mattress valve perfectly. It inflated the mattress quickly and with plenty of pressure. When I went to deflate the mattress, I used the Flextail pump, and was initially disappointed, but realized it was because the pump was strong enough to pull the material on the back of the mattress into the valve, and block the air flow. As long as I rolled the mattress and pushed the air toward the valve, and forced the material apart, the pump worked great at deflating as well. I look forward to using it on many camping trips.

Does what it needs to do as an air pump. Problem is the “rechargeable” option. Was concerned it wouldn’t have enough power reserve to last for a couple mat inflations. So far, for one or two day trips, has been ok. Problematic is, where do you recharge when you’re going to be out for more than a few days. Has a light but ended up using my headlamp instead. Wish they would make a replaceable battery version instead of wondering if you’re going to be sleeping on the ground when the internal battery goes kaput. Numerous attachments for different types of docks. Is also a bit noisy. Weight is almost nothing. Still carry the inflation bag because 2 is one and one is none rule. Have had to use the inflation bag a few times to top off. Speed is steady. Not slow or fast. It does what you would think a small air blower would.

This pump is awesome. Small and comes with all the adapters I need. I've taken it on a couple trips and the battery does really well. My girlfriend likes using it as a little bellow for the fire and will just let it run on end. I came home to charge it and it only took 10m to charge thats how much battery was left. I've not tested the actual capacity but I pumped up two sleeping pads for a night, topped them off the 2nd night and let her use it as a bellow for quite some time just to come home and have it be almost fill charge still says something. The little light is convenient too definitely a great purchase

This pump works really well for inflating air mattresses and pool toys quickly. The 500L per minute spec is accurate and it fills a queen mattress in about 3 minutes. The camping light feature is useful if you're setting up camp in low light. Battery life lasts through multiple inflatables on one charge. The main downside is it's pretty loud which matters when you're camping and trying not to disturb others at nearby sites. If you're at a beach or home setting the noise doesn't matter. The hose connections are solid and don't leak. Price is reasonable for the power output. I wish there was a quieter mode option even if it took longer since the noise volume is genuinely disruptive in quiet camping environments.

This is my second flextail inflator/deflator and it’s amazing. Portable. Keeps a solid charge. Works exactly as needed. We’ve taken it camping a number of times and it can inflate mattresses, pillows, deflates them, and was still perfect for our friends as well to use. Can’t go anywhere without this little guy. Love it.
