I got this because of issues with my lower back and sciatica nerve pain. I do 1099 work and every day missed is money lost. Only a couple times used and I started noticing quick improvements to my situation. I still use it. Follow the DVD, it's also on youtube. Do the stretches, you should feel a tightness of the core muscles and don't go further that that. It doesn't take much effort. It's very easy to use. You must apply heat to encourage circulation and drink plenty of water afterwards to flush out your system like with any massage or physical therapy. The stretching will release a lot of extras your body doesn't want. Heat and rehydration are key to recovery.

I have severe osteoarthritis in my back, neck and shoulders. My brother and my sister both got this device and swear by it. Neither have had back issues since they started using it. Saying that, they both use it on a regular basis, I do not. I have not been proactive as I should which is why I haven't had the complete success that they have. When I am having moderate pain, which is pretty often, and I use it, I can feel the stretch and then my back immediately feels better. Sometimes my back goes out with no warning and I have severe pain which hinders my walking abilities as well. When I have full blown pain in my back, I didn't find this effective. My goal is to start using this daily when I am having little to no pain like my brother and sister do, to see if I can prevent throwing my back out. My sister has the same issues and has not thrown her back out since she began using it, so I believe there is hope. Overall, I think it is a good tool and you can definitely feel the stretch with very little effort using it. I would recommend it.

It had been months of pain due to a spinal bone spur with no relief other than pain mens. I purchased this at the recommendation of my chiropractor. It has really made a difference in my over-all back pain relief. It is very easy to use and is made of strong metal so it will hold up over time. I was really surprised at the progress I have been able to make and it is good to feel like an active member of my back pain relief.

I have used the competitor product for many years and decided to give this one a try. This one is far more difficult to apply force with; I never achieved any release with it. The competitor product I use every night and am able to release several locations consistently.

If used correctly it's a good stretch on your back just be careful. Good value for the money

Does not work. It does nothing for the back. Would like to return it.
