Great energy drink at a great price!

The Cellucor C4 Ultimate Frost Bitten Citrus arrives with a promise of vigor and clarity, a liquid spark for the restless soul. Upon first taste, the frost-bitten citrus strikes sharply, a brisk awakening that stirs both body and thought. It is not merely a drink, but a brief confrontation with vitality—a reminder of the latent energy that slumbers within, waiting for provocation. Yet, as I partake of the twelvefold offering, I observe a certain temperance in its effect. Though invigorating, it lacks the enduring resonance one might hope for, fading sooner than the mind’s desire for sustained ardor. The taste, while brisk and refreshing, is somewhat singular, offering little variation beyond its initial brightness. I grant four stars, for C4 Ultimate Frost Bitten Citrus possesses genuine potency and serves its purpose admirably, a companion to exertion and reflection alike, though it leaves the contemplative spirit yearning for a deeper, more lingering engagement.

I enjoy a good energy drink. I use them more for an occasional substitute for coffee at work when I want some variety - less so for the exercise. As such, flavor is more important than performance for me. This one is packed with niacin and B12, as well as caffeine. The main sweetener is sucralose, and they got it right in this one. So many other brands have a strange aftertaste on their low-calorie options. This one clocks in at 10 calories, 0 sugar, and 0 carbs, and still tastes great. The "Frost Bitten Citrus" flavor is somewhere between a fruit punch and a citrus soda. There's no bitterness to it. The cans are the familiar 16 oz. tall ones. They're the same diameter as a "normal" soda can, so they fit in my micro fridge well. I usually don't drink the whole can at once and tend to spread it out through the day. The price bracket is similar to other energy drinks that I might find at the drug store, except I get the convenience of delivery. This is a very refreshing drink, whether you get it for outdoor activities or just an indoor pick-me-up.

Value for money - 10/10 Taste - 10/10 Daily drinkability (i.e. how quickly you get sick of it) - 10/10 Energy mix - 10/10 This is the second 10/10 across the board I've awarded since Reign Cotton Candy in 2018. I'm normally not a fan of C4 since they're too sweet and I find the energy mix lacking, but C4 Ultimate is a huge step up and may be my new go-to. In addition to 50% more caffeine content (300mg vs 200mg), C4 Ultimate - at least the Frost Bitten Citrus flavor I tested - is much more drinkable on a daily basis than regular C4. The flavor is pleasant but subtle. I've had it every day for the past 10 days and haven't gotten sick of it or felt compelled to switch to another brand. I'm highly impressed by what they've pulled off and plan to order more.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: unique and trusted brand Taste: its pretty mild and no unique taste, similar to the orange slice flavor but more diluted Quality: quality is good along with packaging, and i love orange flavors and c4 but wouldn't get this again.
