Star vs. the Forces of Evil: The Magic Book of Spells

Haven't read the full thing yet but the little I have read have been really interesting

This book has so much lore for SVTFOE of the queens!!!

Bc if the price I thought this might be flimsy but it is hefty with good quality paper and printing. The inside is so adorable and has a huge variety of random stuff. It’s a new book, so the pages aren’t in disarray like the real one but I’ll just put some sticky notes here and there for my cosplay to get the same effect

This is a great book to read.

This is an excellent piece of lore and explanation for the Star Vs universe however some quality control issues keep it from being perfect for me. So let me say I love Star Vs the Forces of Evil. I find it to be a fun enjoyable show and this book does an excellent job at expanding some of the lore of that universe and telling us about past queens of Mewni. However I’ve been through two of these and there’s just some quality control issues as well as a few minor complaints I have that keep it from being a 5-star product. So I’ve had an issue with two copies of this book now where some of the text on the queens introductory pages is slightly faded it’s at random which queen and how many but it has happened twice. As well it annoys me that this book doesn’t fully translate the ancient “queen” dialogue and just sort of is like hey you figure it out I can’t be bothered. Also the fact that the book doesn’t include a copy of the cards for each queen and more or less has a photo copy taped to each queen is annoying. Daron Nefcy did this whole ARG on twitter where certain cards were at certain GPS coordinates and if you happened to be in that area you got that card if you got there first. Would it have been too much to ask to just make copies of those and include them with the book? You could have differentiated the ones from the ARG by having those be signed or 1st edition or something. So in conclusion I really do love this book I just wish it didn’t have the issues I mentioned. It’s still a great buy and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys the show and would like to know a little bit more about the universe.

So, because I'm an idiot, I bought my husband this book. Actually, I bought him three books. He doesn't like to read. Let me reiterate, I'm an idiot. There are two cartoons he likes (well, there are a lot of cartoons he likes, but there are two he watches in my presence that I find borderline. Most of the others, I just hate): "Gravity Falls" (OK, I kind of like that) and "Star vs the Forces of Evil" (too noisy but the end song is awesome). So when I was DESPERATE for gifts for him, and let me just point out that our anniversary, Christmas, his birthday, and Valentines day fall within a 56-day period (leaving 309 days blissfully gift-giving/torment free), and found books on a subject he liked, I bought them immediately. Revisit idiot topic. He Doesn't Like To Read. BUT: the Gravity Falls books I gave him for Christmas, he liked. Revise idiot: I'm a genius! So I shut my eyes, threw two shirts in, and wrapped this one up for his birthday. He opens it, gives me the fish eye. I told him one of the reviewers said it made up for the chaos of last season with Ludo and the book (or was it the season before? I never watch; I just wait for the closing theme song and sing along). He reads it faster than the Gravity Falls book, tells me: it's great. Again, I'm a genius. As are the authors. (He's getting books for every holiday now....)

Super mais il faut bien emballer

Etant une grande fan de ce dessin animé je me suis jetée sur ce livre dès que je l'ai vu en vente ! Et il vaut le détoure !! Ce livre nous plonge dans l'univers du dessin animé en nous montrant le véritable "Book of Spells" de Star Butterfly et des précédentes reines de mewni. Celui regorge d'informations inédites et de petits secrets qui vous permettront de mieux connaitre la série. Cependant petit message au français qui voudraient avoir ce livre : le niveau d'anglais est intermédiaire et l'écriture de certaines pages rend la lecture un peu plus compliqué. À part ça je le recommande à 100% ! P.S = J'ai essayé de pratiquer les sorts dans le livre mais hélas ça ne fonctionne pas :-(

Maravilhoso o livro!!! Depois que revi a série na frase adulta eu voltei a gostar. Ganhei de presente da minha mãe. Foi um maravilhoso presente. Triste que infelizmente não vende mais em português mas lojas oficiais mas só de ter o livro em mãos já estou conquistada. Obrigada Amazon pela entrada super rápido e adiantada bjs super recomendo. 🍁🍁
