This little machine is so cool! I had this crazy idea to (legally, mind you) purchase a large collection/compilation of digital files of old comic books for my daughter who loves to read the vintage versions of this particular comic. However, she dislikes e-readers of any kind. So, I turned the files into pdfs and printed them out on my home printer for private and personal use, but I wanted to bind them for her so she'd have an organized paper collection to browse. That's where this machine came in. This is the only home binding method I haven't personally used or tried, but it looked cool so I thought I'd give it a whirl. The supplies weren't cheap, however the actual binding was easy and so fun. The books I created looked great and have been such a blast for my daughter to read. The pages are remaining nicely bound and intact and the machine is super quick and simple to use and has been a breeze to keep clean. I can't wait to come up with other ideas for things to bind with this machine.

I purchased this to bind together a few new books and assignments for my classes! It works perfectly! The machine is easy to use, heats up quickly and binds easily! It also has a cooling slot to add the document after bound. I have only bound my action research paper and several units for one of my classes and it worked perfectly. I have not bound my books yet but may return for a review once I do. *I am not sure yet about the value for the money, but I do like this machine and appreciate having my assignments bound together as opposed to having loose sheets in a folder!

So, I literally just got this tonight and am just beginning to play around with it. It does not come with any cover folders or glue straps. Thankfully I bought a pack of glue straps when ordering. It was very easy to set up and comes with a single sheet of instructions/troubleshooting. I had already checked out some YouTube videos to get an idea and that was helpful. So far I think this is going to be a lot of fun to use. I will update after awhile. *Be sure to buy either bookbinding glue strips or the covers when ordering or you will be disappointed.
