I had put a computer together, a Dell that I got off eBay and the xr3060 and a bunch of other components. I had never put a computer together before but this was the last piece that I needed. It didn't come with the internet built in so I had to add this but it was plug and Play. It worked smoothly. I literally put it in and it popped up and I had internet. I didn't think it would be that easy. Definitely recommend this

Prior to purchasing this, I tried a PCI-e Wifi Card, m.2 wireless card, both did not work for me???? I tried the included drivers and ones downloaded via the internet. They both were not recognized like stated, I had to return both. I made sure they were compatible with an Intel Motherboard, they were. Did not work. I plugged this in and windows recognized it immediately, I clicked the network icon and saw my network, BINGO! Should have purchased this first. Great connection, no issues at all! Remember if your PC is far away from your router/modem, you may possibly get low bars/low connection. If that is the case, you can buy a usb extension cable and hang it or place it closer. They run a few bucks but make sure to measure how far in length you will need. I purchased a 4ft usb extension cable and stretched it very close to my modem. For my situation I may have not even needed to do that but I wanted to make sure it was a stable connection. Plugged in Internet Speed - 363 mbps Average Phone Wireless Speed - 65 mbps Average This USB Wifi Speed - 138 mbps Average I tested these more than once, to compare. For what I am going to use this backup computer for, I do not mind the USB Wifi speeds being lower than the plugged in speeds. Could possibly be a setting in my modem/router to speed that up, I am not sure. I will research that in the future. * Update * For whatever reason my Motherboard Bios had the excess PCI-e slots/m.2 slots turned off. As a person who has built and worked on many computers, I find it hilarious that I did not check the BIOS! Lol. Anyway, hope this update helps someone. Some times the easiest fix, is the hardest. I have no idea how I did not check the BIOS. I am still using this usb item, works great!

Just purchased it and it works really great. The best ever. The adapter picked up my Wi-Fi with no trouble at all. Just plug it into your USB, wait for a little bit and you'll see your Wi-Fi. Type in your password and that's it. Very stable so far and compatible with my Dell Desktop Optiplex computer. No lag yet. Range is good as I live in an apartment. Worth buying a backup.

Works, even works on windows XP but doesn't work on Vista, I get decent speeds and stability is good for the first few months and there is some lag and it isn't very durable and little plug and play and signal strength is incredibly good and it supports wifi 6 and it is not stable after a year.

Came home from one of our adventures and my PC had lost network connection. Now, our network is all CAT 5e but it has been in for quite some time. All the rest of the network connections were fine. I did not want to re-pull and terminate new cable so I found this little WiFi adapter. The router is two walls away and it may as well be in the room. I have had no issue with this devices function and as a non-techo person all I can say is it does the job.
