Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation, Lightweight and Buildable Full Coverage Foundation Makeup For Up To 30HR Wear, 125, 1 Count

I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! I have dry skin and always do my skin care routine prior to putting on my makeup. I have curated a routine that keeps me hydrated and plays well with ALL makeup. I have been wearing Haus Labs Triclone foundation for years, but my skin is fairer than it normally is (I live in the desert and am inside all Summer) and figured I'd try this foundation as opposed to trying to figure out my new shade in Haus Lab's 65 shade options (they have a VERY confusing skin tone format). I found 118 perfect for my light/neutral skin tone. This foundation is JUST AS GOOD as any foundation you can find in Sephora. I have tried SO many foundations, and this goes on smoothly, covers well, and like the Triclone, keeps a skin-like finish. I will say that it dries down quickly so there is not a lot of time for placement. Do not pump this on your face and blend section at a time (NOBODY should be pumping foundation on their face) because it dries fast. I pump two pumps it into my hand, dip my brush in and work section at a time, then repeat the process till my face is covered. This LASTS ALL DAY, doesn't budge once it's dried, and withstands sweat, the heat, and a full day of activities. I would say this reminds me of a combination of Triclone Foundation and Estee Lauder Double wear. The LUMI-MATTE finish is muah! CHEF'S KISS. Since I use a moisturizing skin care routine, oftentimes a luminous foundation can be too much glow for my taste. Then I have to powder more heavily than I like, then it's too matte and I need to use a hydrating setting spray and lumi blush. It's a vicious cycle. This dries and has a soft, illumination to it but it also dries to be a matte finish. How? IDK! I end up powdering ONLY where I use concealer and this gives me that perfect finish I am after. This NEVER ends up being too luminous for me. I think anyone can pull this foundation off, oily or dry. I think this would be AWESOME for oily skin people who want to wear a lumi foundation but can't without over-powdering the face. They probably need to make more shades of this line because as it stands, there aren't enough to cover every skin tone, and they need to. I predict that this, along with the Super Stay Skin Tint, will be a part of Maybelline's permanent collection. I used to use the Eraser foundation for years, but this is much better as it stays put ALL DAY LONG. I'm so glad I tried this as it has become my go-to foundation I wear everyday now. If you have dry skin, do not skip your moisturizing routine prior to wearing this as I could foresee it becoming patchy and dry looking. For oily skin people, I think a grippy primer like Elf Power Grip or Maybelline Grippy primer would work well under this. I have Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip and I haven't tried it with that yet, but I will and follow up with my results! Maybelline and L'oreal have been killing it lately! They keep this up and I won't ever have to step into a Sephora again!

I’m seriously impressed with the Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation! The formula feels super lightweight on my skin but still gives amazing buildable coverage. It blends beautifully, looks natural, and gives the perfect soft matte glow without feeling dry or cakey. It stayed looking fresh for hours, even through a busy day. Definitely one of the best drugstore foundations I’ve tried! ✨💖

This is a super lightweight, buildable medium coverage foundation that's long-wearing with no touchups all day. I didn't go the full 30 hours (bc who actually can?) but was impressed that there is no coverage breakdown mid-day. I believe it's because it's a matte finish and not really luminous, so I think the name is a bit deceiving since I was hoping for a more glowy finish. I'm going to try with a luminizing primer to see if that helps. Color match is phenomenal! I took a gamble and ordered this online having never tried it before (I don't believe it's available in the USA) and the shade completely melts into my skin perfectly. I'm truly shocked at how exact the match is. For reference, I use Armani Luminous Silk in 4.5, Nars Light Reflecting in M1.2 Patagonia and Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter in Shade 4. Overall, I'm surprised and impressed at how good this formula is and prefer it much more than the Tir Tir silver glow cushion compact. I have very dry, mature asian skin (late 40s) that typically doesn't do well with matte formulas.

This is the absolute best foundation EVER!!!! It’s the perfect shade for my skin tone, it blends so easy & well. I’ve used Fit Me Dewy & Smooth for years until I tried Lumi Matte and now there’s no going back. It has a nice scent, not too thick at all and not too drying which is extremely important for my usually dry skin. Perfect age defying formula: doesn’t set into wrinkles. I use it with the Grippy primer and it lasts 24 hours for sure with little touch up required. Beats out high end brands effortlessly.

10/10 recommend. I am a die hard Fenty Foundation user as I have oily skin. This foundation gives just the right amount coverage without looking cakey. It also has not caused any breakouts and lasts me the full work day. Will be purchasing again.

I have used this foundation for about three weeks. It has the best staying power of any foundation I’ve used. It goes on lightly but dries quickly, kind of like the difference in painting with oil paints or acrylics. I do a light dusting of setting powder just because I’ve always done it, but don’t think it’s even needed. I find the price way less than I have paid for ones that didn’t work.

Ok..I normally want to wait awhile for reviewing product. I had worn Estee lauder double wear for 30 years. It wasn't my shade and it started showing my wrinkles and it just felt heavy and icky with no coverage. I'm in menopause and it just didn't look good anymore, I tried everything. Looked the same or worse. I also had three surgeries earlier this year. I have every skin disorder you could think of and I look old. I was worried about this since I've never worn the brand. So I thought I would give it a try. Wasn't very worried. It was cheap. They asked what I was using and the shade. Sent a perfect shade. I have worn it since then. I normally give my skin a couple of weeks before I decide. I haven't even noticed I even have it on. It covered my skin problems. Can't see any of the train wrecks on my face, under my eyes with eye cream. Had a few too many injures on my face but I notice my face stuff, no one else does. I've worn it over 12 hours, only problem is I have oily skin get a little oily in my t zone first couple of weeks.. I've worn it for long time and after 12 hours it needed a touch up, lots of times I couldn't. I don't what else to say except I love it. I was surprised it went on so well and was the perfect shade. Got two, one for summer and one for now. Felt like nothing at all. It isn’t. The oily skin isn't nearly as bad as it would with old stuff. It doesn’t make me look my age, much younger. As I'm going through menopause I've been evaluating what works and what doesn't. I'm shocked I found a perfect new foundation, first try. Not wearing any other foundation. And if I forgot to mention, it covered all my skin looking bad from rashes of eczema psoriasis and idk from my dermatologist. It says it can be buildable. It hides it all, everything using the amount I am Thank you to whoever helped me decide. I'm sure it was an automated process. One thing I've noticed, dont be afraid to use more. The coverage gets better with more and still has dry out... I had worn Estee lauder since I was 18, thirty years later I couldn't do it anymore. Estee lauder never had one that was too heavy. I needed a change. I'm grateful for people looking at my face and eyes. People weren’t making fun or pointing it out and staring. Ok, I've been wearing this for months now and want a different review here to help someone else. Bought this, super excited. I'm not now. It does everything I didn’t want. I'ts cakey, really bad after a few hours. If I try to fix, it takes off half my makeup. It feels yucky and I have a face condition that looks like lupus but it isn’t. Went to dermatologist several times. I have really sensitive skin and frustrated with the results of this foundation. I have really oily and combination skin. Would not recommend.

Maybelline Super Stay Lumi Matte Foundation provides really good coverage while still looking natural. It blends easily, feels lightweight, and gives a smooth luminous matte finish. The coverage is buildable, so it works well for both everyday makeup and full glam looks. It stays in place for long hours without feeling heavy or cakey, and the shade 112 looks great on my skin. For the quality and performance, the price is excellent. A reliable foundation that delivers great coverage and long wear.

Honestly, this is such a great foundation. It’s become a total staple in my collection and has officially replaced my previous high-end go-tos. The shade match is spot on, and the formula is beautiful. It's smooth, blendable, and super easy to apply with either a brush or sponge. It layers well with my skincare and mix-ins like facial oil or bronzing drops, and both cream and powder products sit perfectly on top. I have normal-to-oily skin, and it really holds up throughout the day without breaking apart or settling. I’ve worn it for 12–14 hour workdays and it still looks great with minimal touch-ups. As someone who’s mostly worn high-end foundations for years, I’m genuinely impressed with this one and would highly recommend it.

This foundation formula is magic! My very textured skin looks so much smoother with this on and it lasts longer than any other foundation I've tried. I have oily acne prone skin that gets dry patches and irritation due to dry climate and tretinoin but this foundation always looks good. Good coverage, and is lightweight. My only thing is that lightest shade 102 isn't quite light enough for me unfortunately especially in the winter, and it can pull a little orange when it oxidizes. I really hope Maybelline can add a few more shades!

This is the foundation that ended my search. Genuinely. Prepare for the yap I am about to serve. I was looking for a new lightweight natural-finish foundation for the longest, having only used the Armani Luminous Silk for the past 2 years and the Estee Lauder Double Wear (Original Formula) before that. What I find is that no matter how much I try to thin those out for a more natural look, they always ended up feeling slightly heavy and powdery, which gives it that cakey look. I am in my early 20s and have dry and textured skin, especially during the winter. I get dry patches on my cheeks and a bit oily on my nose sometimes. I've tried everything, using a hydrating primer, moisturizer, setting spray, etc, but it never gave me the finish that I wanted. So during the Sephora Sale this year, I got a few new options to try, including the DIOR Backstage Face & Body Foundation which I was told was more runny and thin if I wanted the lightweight feel. I compared that against the Lumi Matte a couple of times using a both a sponge and a brush and dare I say, the Lumi Matte ends up being my favourite side both at the start and end of the day. I don't know how to describe it but it is genuinely so lightweight, it feels just like a skin-tint but with a lot more coverage. I bought both the 110 and 112 to mix since I am a light-neutral skin tone and I find that the half and half ratio is perfect. I apply in thin layers using a flat brush and it covered all my acne scars and discoloration. The texture and formula feels really similar to the DIOR Backstage and the coverage and dry down is comparable to that of the Estee Lauder Double Wear. Its mostly matte but still has the inner luminosity and glow that peeks through. If you want a super dewy look, maybe this is not the one for you. But if you want something natural looking and light weight that gives a seamless coverage without emphasizing texture and scarring, then your search ends here. This is it. The cBeauty girls really cooked with this recommendation because this foundation is super popular in Asia. The moment I tried it, I knew the formula was goated, I just needed to mix and find my shade. But hopefully you can find yours without having to mix it. I recommend using a hydrating moisturizer or sunscreen underneath this, and applying it thin layers one section at a time since it sets pretty fast. Anyway, I hope this was helpful!
