I am fairly new to 'Irish' and enjoying the experience. All I can say about this is Wow! The nose, the taste, the finish arf all first rate. The price, in what I consider mid- range for my wallet is value or money. Rating: High.

fantastic whisky
Teeling are very experimental and this whisky is perfect as a bridge to bring bourbon drinkers over to Irish whisky. Quite young, but sweeter than most Irish. very smooth, good biscuit and fruit notes. creamy finish. Too expensive for me to drink regularly, but this stays on my birthday and xmas list.

Lovely Little Tipple
Bought this as a present for my dad for Christmas, who is Irish and loves a good Whiskey. Dad has sampled this (quite a bit) and tells me it is a very nice tipple. He's always impressed with the range of Whiskey's I manage to find and this one went down very well.

Für 27 Euro inkl. Versnad im Angebot - dafür bekommt man alles - nur keinen Referenz Whiskey. Generell bin ich jetzt auch kein Grain Whisky trinker - den letzten - den ich hatte kam von Lidl und das war ein Targe 12 - der sofort in die Mix-Ecke wanderte aber im Zusammenspiel mit Coca Cola eine ordentliche Figur machte - aber "pur" war das absolut kein Erlebnis. Duchaus ähnlich - aber deutlich süßer und lebendiger spielt der Teeling Single Grain auf - der besteht wohl zu 95 Prozent aus Mais und hat eine Nachreifung im Rotwein Faß. Eine High End Delikatesse ist der Teeling zwar nicht wirklich - aber klar besser als der Targe 12 jedoch nicht so elegant wie ein Samuel Gelston Single Pot mit Pinot Noir Finish. Dafür grooved er sich mit der Zeit ein und wird irgendwie immer süßer und gefährlich süffig. Fazit: Wer sich eine Teeling Collection zusammenstellen will macht mit dem Single Grain keinen Fehler - aber es ist absolut nichts für traditionelle Whiskey Gourmets - der Teeling ist eher ein Indie -Alternative Dram. Für umgerechnet 22 Euro im Angebot ist dieser Irish Bourbon für Testings hochinteressant - als Feierabend Whiskey ist er mit Vorsicht zu genießen - da einerseits grainig und andererseits verlockend süß !!! Preis-Leistung - sehr gut.
