It's a metal ring, perfect for a home built fire pit.

Best Fire Ring Ever
There has been tons of reviews on the firewood holder, but none on the ring. This is the best bang for you buck. Super thick and the price is 1/3 of the other brands. Ordered a second just to have if I ever need one.
