Do 3aaa batteries last long enough? i use it for fishing at night

I do a lot of backcountry expeditions and this flashlight is enough for me to use for several nights. A night of fishing time is no problem. In fact, don't worry about battery life, just bring a few replacement batteries.

Are the included batteries alkaline or carbon/zinc?

The batteries are labeled 0%Hg Alkaline batteries

So you cannot recharge the 18650 battery while it is in the flashlight, but need to have a separate recharger, correct?

The rechargeable battery is 3.7 volts and I would think it needs it own charger as normally you would put three 1.5 volt batteries in this light that is why they supplied a plastic converter tube to hold the single 3.7 volt rechargeable battery.
