Was pulling my 3 days old stubble intermittently. Not impressed. Product might be a hyped and at least should come with a standard clipper blade guard. Returned promptly.

After nearly 20 years of using my corded Andis trimmer, I decided it was time to switch to a cordless model. I initially tried another brand, but it just didn’t meet my expectations; it wasn’t sharp enough and didn’t give me the precision I needed to shape my mustache, goatee, and beard the way I like. I’ve been using the Bezel safety razor for a while, so I was already familiar with the brand, which made me confident in giving their trimmer a try. I opted for the SE version over the metal body model, and so far, I have no complaints. The performance has been solid, and it’s definitely sharper than my previous trimmer. The only issue I have is with the power adapter. It makes a buzzing sound that’s a bit off-putting, and it warms up fairly quickly. To avoid this, I’ve found it works best to charge the trimmer for about 15 minutes, unplug it for a few minutes to let the adapter cool down, and then repeat the process. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable cordless trimmer.

I bought this gift for my boyfriend (30) and then for my dad (56) They both love it, say it’s the best trimmer they’ve had. Definitely worth the money.

I have been contemplating buying this for a while. Basically, I am a loyal Bevel customer. My medicine cabinet is filled with Bevel products. But I wasn't sure about this "beard" trimmer since I saw so few reviews and no videos for it. I purchased it anyway and I found that the purpose is exactly as they state in advertising. It is to touch up your hair in between going to the barber and shaping your beard. That's it. Not for "trimming" your beard hairs but shaping it. I'm guessing only very few people are willing to spend so much for such a niche product. But does it work? Absolutely. I have a another highly rated trimmer and I can easily tell the difference. I gave my sons an edge up and the lines are so much better. I also used it on my beard and it works good enough (not as close as a razor but still good). I am happy with my purchase. The trimmer is light, the motor is powerful and the design is beautiful. The biggest negative is that there are no guards. I don't understand why Bevel made such a great product but limited its use and customer base by making a home product that is only good for edge ups. But I'm not a barber so maybe there is something I'm missing. I would recommend this only if you think it's important to touch up in between barber visits. For me, it helps a lot with my kids and our busy schedule (I'm bald so I don't need an edge up). Sometimes I have to go longer than I would like between barber visits. I would also recommend if you can not use a razor to shape your beard but need something that cuts almost as close. And that's it. Like I stated, it seems that Bevel is limiting its usefulness by not offering guards so I also have to limit my recommendation. Quick edit: I have found that using the trimmer prior to using the Bevel electric shaver is AMAZING (neck and head). Very close to a razor shave and saves time.
