I wanted to wait to submit my review until I've had a chance to test everything out with it to make sure that it works like it should. I'm very pleased with the performance of this laptop. When I first set it up, I had to go through a lot of Windows Updates, but that is pretty much the norm when setting up a new Windows PC anyway, so I didn't mind the wait. I figured that I would let everything go at it's own pace during set-up, so that the laptop functions like it should right out of the box. In the short time that I've had this laptop, I find the performance of it is very good. Fast start-up, it is quick when it is put into sleep mode and when it shuts down. The touch screen which was one of the main reasons that I selected this laptop, functions very well. The sound quality of the speakers is for the most part good, although by reading other reviews here, I learned that the speakers of this laptop are located on the front bottom of the case. However, by no means is the sound quality muffled in any way. Battery life after first charge was very good. It lasted for a good 7-8 hours before needing a charge. Although it didn't come with a lighted keyboard, it is fine as I found a light here on Amazon that plugs into one of the USB ports that should work for me. Upon arrival of the laptop, it arrived in excellent condition in a sealed box with no rips or anything to the box. The laptop in and of itself was also in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks, Etc. as I thoroughly inspected it after unpacking it from the box. Although your results will vary, I had a very positive purchase experience with this product. ### ⭐⭐ Nice Laptop but screen freezes (AND IT'S NEW) *by A***L on November 12, 2018* I initially had my eye on this laptop for months. Now, that I finally broke down and spent the money on it, I'm not sure I'm truly satisfied. I bought this laptop in mid-September 2018 and maybe only use it twice a week up until now. Within the past two weeks, when I turn the device on, I wait a little to allow the laptop time to boot up, but when I click on the Internet Explorer icon or anything, nothing happens! It's happened maybe 5 times now and I have to restart. I've also had it frozen on a black screen twice and the only way it will do anything is when I press and hold the power button to reboot.
