Carmen Sandiego 40th Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch

For fans of Carmen Sandiego—new and old—you will LOVE this reincarnation of the classic game! It utilizes characters from the more recent Netflix series in a story-based game with multiple parts but also includes a “classic” play that runs like older versions of the game. Various levels of difficulty and endless iterations of the game make it fun and educational for all ages and continue to engage this life-long fan (starting with the game show in the 90s!). I’m in my late 30s and my kids are under 13 and we all dig it.

This game made me feel like a kid again. The graphics were great. I like that the newer version and original version are on one game. That way my 10 year old and I can enjoy. Hopefully more volumes will come out.

If you love history/geography you would live this game

I loved watching the show when I was younger so this brings back a bit of nostalgia. The anniversary edition is fun and engaging plus you might learn a thing or two while you're trying to catch the criminals. Puzzles aren't too complicated and sometimes may seem a bit repetitive. All in all it's a fun game that isn't terribly expensive to buy and a nice way to kill some time

Brings back memories of the days when I would play it on the computer at school and at home!

The gameplay is super easy, but it’s cute. Graphics’s could use some work because Carmen looks wonky and bulgy at some angles but overall pretty fun especially if you were younger wanting to play. I liked how it came with stickers and a map, it can be a fun collectors item if you don’t intend to play it. Overall I’m very happy with it.

Starts super cute & promising, but quickly becomes redundant & lazy w the same repeating mini game puzzles I was super excited over the nostalgia of this game, but it definitely left me feeling wanting & a bit cheated I'll likely still slowly play thru (slowly bc it's so repetitive) but I wish I would have waited until it was on sale for $20

As a huge fan of the old school Carmen San Diego games this does NOT disappoint. It caters to a new audience while holding on to Theo nes that grew up with the series as well (that isn’t an easy feat) It still manages to teach you things about certain parts of the world while you’re enjoying yourself, I usually play hardcore games with action/Adventure/RPGs and I’m not much for casual gaming so to me this is perfection. The mix of nostalgia while keeping it new and exciting is simply fantastic, The physical edition is super nice as well. Well done gameloft! Hope this is the beginning of a new series! I’ll be supporting. 10/10 (for the type of game it is, obviously not comparing it to the greats)

O jogo está lindo demais, essa edição especial foi um presente para os fãs da franquia. Como trata-se de uma edição de aniversário, esperava que viesse uma Steel Box mas ficaram devendo. Fora isso, excelente jogo.
