LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star DUAL Inverter Split AC (Copper, AI Convertible 6-in-1, VIRAAT Mode, Faster Cooling & Energy Saving, 4 Way Swing, HD Filter with Anti-Virus Protection, US-Q19YNZE, White)

I purchased the 1.5 Ton 5 Star LG Dual Inverter Split AC from Amazon for my friend, and the experience so far has been very good. The cooling performance is excellent, and the room gets comfortable quite quickly even during hot weather. The Dual Inverter technology makes the AC very energy efficient, which helps in reducing electricity consumption. Another good aspect is that the AC operates very quietly, which makes it comfortable to use during the night. The build quality and design also look premium, as expected from LG. The installation process was smooth, and overall the product appears reliable and well-built. So far, we are quite satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this AC to anyone looking for efficient cooling and good energy savings.

Good product. Bought LG considering great direct feedback from friends and colleagues. Carrier, Daikin, Blue Star may be AC pros however have seen multiple issues due to them majorly focusing on their larger commercial consumer base. Its 4-5k more than other good brands, but I bought it for leace of mind. Installation was smooth and fast. Engineering did very clean job. Charges are extra, suprisingly no water drain pipe even though mentioned on the box (paid 150 during installation). Total expenses, adding additional copper cable were just over 3k. Cashback recieved during purchase kind of settled that expense. I bought white cement to fill the wall hole, however engineers used theirs and did not charge extra. Though it has stabilizer free operation for a good low to hugh range, due to my place having 1-2 power cuts per day, I opted for a stabilizer. Go with the one that provides onsite warranty. Costed aroung 1700 (including cashback and discount fron Amazon). Cooling is great, 24-25'C with fan speed 1-2 does sufficient cooling for outside temperature of 35-36. Overall happy with the purchase and operations of 2 weeks.

This is one of the worst AC that you are going to spend upon, I got the ac from Amazon and copper wire was missing and then no replacement policy, You spend all the money on it. LG service technicians are like don't know anything about ac installation and they ask for more money only. I had to spend 7000 just for installation. After 15 days of installation , it started getting a water leakage from indoor unit and as usual technicians don't know what to do. Lg service centre - don't expect anything from them, most useless support centre. This went on for 2 months and no resolution and then local mechanic just found out that in few seconds it was an insulation issue. Now , I got CH 38 error and as usual - Technicians doesn't know why it is coming , LG care doesn't talk. Lg service centre in UP are for namesake and you'll end up wasting money on Lg products. Lg - You close the shop.

Used this for a year and absolutely loved this.

Here is my feedback on the LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star Dual Inverter Split AC. 1. Product/Device - Product was new and packaging was sturdy. 2. Product Price - Fair market price in comparison to competitors. 3. Cooling Efficiency - The entire room gets cooled within 5 minutes with basic setup (temperature set at 24* C). As it is October, the outside temperature in my area is 26* C. Have to wait until summer to see the performance and other modes (6 in 1, VIRAAT etc.,) 4. Installation - Though the vendor (contractor of LG) was prompt in follow-up and installation, they charged 7400 INR as installation charges which is 1000 INR higher than mentioned by LG while purchasing the installation package (1199 +GST). See the calculation in attached image for more details (green is nominal as advertised; red is overcharged). If you are buying this package, please verify the LG's mentioned charges against the LG's vendor quote to make sure there is no over charge 5. WIFI Connectivity - AC connects only to 2.5 GHZ band against 5G. So you would have to setup 2.5G in your WIFI router if you have not done so. Able to control the device using the LG Thin Q app and monitor the usage. 6. Electricity Consumption - Writing this review with 10 days of usage. Have to wait until a month to see the consumption and corresponding charges. 7. Stabilizer - Though LG's description says stabilizer is not required, I went with a basic stabilizer. Overall happy with the product so far.

Installation: Two installation executives from LG arrived with absolutely no knowledge of the basics, such as proper AC placement or alignment in a room. Despite us agreeing to pay for copper wiring extensions, they attempted to remove the curtain rods to install the AC—completely disregarding the fact that the room needed curtains. After finally deciding where to place the AC, they still removed the curtain rods. Once they drilled holes for the pipes, the curtains had to be rehung, and in the process, they drilled multiple unnecessary holes in our rental apartment. They also lost a curtain hook and ignored our repeated requests to vacuum the copper wire installation, even though it was explicitly mentioned on the outdoor unit of the AC. To make matters worse, they intentionally released some refrigerant from the AC to convince us that vacuuming wasn’t necessary. The installer also attempted to overcharge us by confusing us with pipe, stand, and material costs. In the end, we had to pay ₹9,200 for just 2 meters of extra copper wiring (both large and small). Product Registration on LG's Website: Their website is full of bugs. The signup process has errors, and the product US-Q19YNZE isn’t even listed in their product registration dropdown! Quality: Since installation, the AC has been emitting a musty smell, which is highly disappointing. complete waste of time with installation, product registration, usage, rasing tickets on their site etc. very bad service
