They slide on much more easily than the other connectors that I've been using for the rest of my irrigation project. There is only a single small barbed ridge to keep the hose attached. For other connectors, I've needed to heat the hose to soften it enough to slide over the ridges. That was hardly necessary with these. The hose slid on very easily. The connection is plenty long if hose clamps are needed.Quality seems okay overall. The hose didn't detach at 25 PSI (even without extra hose clamps). They aren't leaking.After scrounging up some extra hose clamps, I went out and looked at these again. They seem pretty solidly connected. I gave them a good tug and they were solidly gripping the hose. Hose clamps should not be needed .. not at 25 PSI at least. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2019* Fits my 1/2 inch id tube securely and the valve seems well made and strong for the price.
