This excellent outdoor camera has a message saying "product returned with frequency," and I want to prevent another customer from purchasing it without knowing why it's being returned so often. It's a very good camera, but it's more for outdoor use than for indoor use. Its image angle is very wide, or exactly 180 degrees. If you buy it for indoor use, like in a living room, dining room, etc., it won't work. Its image quality is superior; 16 MP is perfect; you can see any intruder's face. On the other hand, one of the reasons it's being returned is in the configuration. It's not very clear, and if you try to configure it using Wi-Fi, you won't be able to do so because it doesn't have software to install Wi-Fi. However, the solution is to connect the network cable or RJ-45 that comes with the camera, and then you can configure it and the Wi-Fi as well, but it's very easy and quick. I hope this message has helped. I've already bought another one for my patio.

Installation was easy, app set up was also very easy. The double 4K camera leaves a clear image in high resolution with a complete 180 degree view. You can even adjust the brightness of the exposure so that even in the dark, you get a better picture quality. We are using it to watch a couple cars that have been vandalized several times on the street which are about 30 feet away and we can clearly see enough details to know who it is that is walking by so hopefully we catch the people doing it soon.

Amazing quality of the picture at night and day. Truly 180 degrees view. It has also white led lights working like motion sensor secure light. Good recognition of cars, pets, people. Seems to be very high quality, front part has a warning that camera can be hot. I live in Las Vegas. Summer will tell if it will survive heat. One star less, because I was hoping it can be powered also via Ethernet cable, also it would be nice if they will provide Ethernet waterproof connector to put on the cable. It’s small additional cost, but I had to buy whole bag just to use one. My camera is in one line with the whole wall to the router, so WiFi is compromised, but I’m glad it has Ethernet option to send signal. Customer support is awesome. Yes, I would buy it again. Worth every penny.

Got two at the sale price and had then hooked up in minutes. I've had Reolink cameras before and they always worked fine. They can be a tad touchy to hook up initially. You need to set it up with a hard ethernet connection and I found that to get the WiFi working initially, I set it up with the hard wire connection and then on my desktop, NOT installed, I disconnected the hard line and let it connect to the WiFi first time this way. Once this was set and done the install was simply the hanging hardware. The new camera takes the same power supply (12Vdc@2A) as the previous camera so I was able to just use the existing power connections.

Quit working just shy of 2 months. Update: After a day of it loosing it's connection I unplugged it and plugged it back in. That seemed to help as it only lost connection 2 more times but has been stable ever since. It connects via 5GHz to an EAP610 access point with perfect line of sight at about 40 feet. Other Reolink cameras (including another Duo 3 WiFi like this one) connect to the same EAP60 and have had no issues. Those other cameras use both a 5GHz SSID and a 2.4 GHz SSID. 2 of the 2.4 GHz cameras are about 200 feet with good line of sight. This leaves me wondering if I just experienced a period of crazy atmospherics. Overall, happy with the product. I have 3 Duo 3s now, about 18 in all of various models.

Coming from a Foscam user, switching to Reolink has been like stepping into the future. Everything on this camera is so much better than what I’ve been used to. From the video quality to detection alerts and even the cloud service (even know their cloud service is pricey). I’m so impressed, that I went ahead and ordered two more Reolink cameras to replace my old Foscams. Eventually I plan on adding the NVR, but that’ll be once I’ve finished replacing my old cameras with the Reolinks.

This review is for the Duo 3 16 MP WiFi camera. The camera exceeded my expectations in every way. Setup was easy even though this was my first security camera. It connected to our WiFi on the first attempt. Resolution of 16 mp (twice that of 4k) is incredible. Did have some trouble getting it to format my 128 GB microSD card (SanDisk Ultra). Got it to work after formatting the card to FAT32 on my desktop using free "Fat32 gui formatter" software (Win 11 won't format drives larger than 32 GB to fat32). The Reolite app is easy to setup and use and works well with my android phone. Just ordered a second Duo 3 WiFi for our backyard.

Cam is quick to view, good spot light, good range, good siren, however, the AI detection function is totally useless. It will give you alert at anything and alerts keeps popping up even tho I customized it to only activate when humans are present. But it mistakes anything in the shape of a human as a human. Even a stop sign is a human, a tree, anything. Keeps giving false alarms. The second issue is the image quality at night is not adjustable to accommodate outdoor lights such as garage lights. So the image comes overexposed(too bright) that you can't recognize faces standing in front of the camera. Last thing, the lack of support. I messaged the company but they never replied.

L'appli fonctionne aussi très bien et sans pub. Pensez à mettre une bonne carte SD de 256Go si vous voulez avoir quelques jours d'enregistrement continu, ou une 64 ou 128 pour l'enregistrement unique des alertes.

I’ve bought three of these so far, and after using two of them consistently for some time, I can confidently say I’ll be buying more and exploring other products in the Reolink lineup. The build quality feels solid, setup is straightforward, and the app integration works smoothly. Image clarity is excellent both during the day and at night, with strong detail and coverage. Motion detection does trigger the occasional false positive (bugs, moving leaves, etc.), but that doesn’t happen often and is easy to live with considering the overall reliability. What I appreciate most is that these cameras just work. Once installed, I don’t have to constantly adjust or troubleshoot. That reliability has made me more comfortable expanding my system, and I’m already considering adding a few different Reolink models for broader coverage. Overall, if you’re looking for dependable outdoor security cameras at a fair price, these are a great choice.
