im very much anal about the gear i buy. I have 3 x 3tb M.2s and 3 x 2.5 ssds. I always buy samsung or corsair but i gave this ago and put it in a gaming laptop with a 13700k and 4070 gpu. It worked so well i bought another and put in my main rig which has a asus Astral 5090 bla bla , so all the top gear and an Orico drive now. Its been fast, reliable and a good purchase. im pleased its as good as all the rest.

Great way to increase storage in my PS5. Straight forward to fit, I found it best not to use the base plate and fins that are provided as they won't fit in the space available. So far the storage is working well and the games downloaded to it are loading quickly and play perfectly. The item was delivered quickly well packaged and with instructions provided.

I bought this to upgrade my boot drive as i was running short of space, I have always used Samsung SSDs in the past as they are reliable and quick, but they are also expensive. I decided try this ORICO and have not been disappointed. It is just as fast as the Samsung 980 PRO 1TB that it has replaced at about 6500 MB/s, and it is significantly cheaper. The only issue I had was when cloning the drive using AOMEI Backup Manager the first attempt failed. To clone successfully the two drives must be of the same type and I had to convert the ORICO from MBR to GPT. After that it cloned successfully. Well pleased with the result.

I bought it for extending ps5 storage, hence I needed a fast m.2 ssd pciex gen4. It works, as it is detected by ps5, with a read spead of more than 6000 mbps, and it works well with the games. Same as the internal hardrive. I removed one star because the heatsing design is one of the most nonsensical that i have seen. It is too wide on the sides with the metal clip protruding that I had to do some modification in order to fit it inside the ps5 storage expansion slot... now it's in. But i don't know how I will be able to get it out without breaking it in half.

Totally died after just 6 months. Used as an Apple Time Machine backup so very disappointed and frustrated, Despite flashy ad page on Amazon, would not buy anything again from them.

Put mine into a UGreen Mac mini dock, easy to fit just needed initialising for Mac OS. Using it as a mass storage point for all the external hard drives I had amassed. A 200 GB transfer from external USB A connected device to the SSD took about 18 minutes which did warm the housing up but during normal use it is cool.

Works beautifully and it's fast enough too very happy indeed.
