[for US Version] Yondista for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G Screen Replacement 6.8" AMOLED SM-G908a, SM-S908u, SM-S908w LCD Display Touch Digitizer Assembly with Tools(Burgundy with Frame)

I replaced the screen of my a Samsung S22 ultra with this screen. It came with some tools and what looked like a screen protector. There weren't any instructings so I followed a 9 minute youtube video. I had my own set of tools and didn't really use the ones provides. It used the same small Philips screwdriver for every screw (really small sized screw driver) and a blade to get the back off. The biggest hurdle was getting the battery out since it was securely fastened with adhesive to the screen. I was finished in about an hour and the phone worked great. The display area is smaller but it beats having a screen that doesn't work. Totally greatful I purchased this.

I took a chance on this part and I suppose I paid the price. I would call myself a somewhat experienced repair tech, and I've done this exact repair twice prior, so I was surprised when my phone did not turn on after the repair. After a few seconds of troubleshooting, the phone suddenly powered on without the power on screen or carrier screen, which is very strange. After that the phone seemed to be okay, albeit there was no edge display, so the part is definitely not up to spec with the original. When I turned the phone off however, the power button did not work to turn the phone back on and it stopped working again. The phone also got really hot around the display connector and battery connector, the S pen functions also did not work. The phone would eventually power back on, but was consistently laggy, warm, and did not work beyond the screen turning on and the phone charging. I know this isn't a repair problem as when I put everything back into the old screen and body there were no problems (besides the cracked screen of course). Just go to repair universe or something and pay the extra Fifty dollars and get something that is guaranteed to work properly.

The screen fits perfect and fingerprint works like a charm.

Es un buen panel brilloso apesar de no ser original, no le tenia muchas esperanzas pero me sorprendio, lamentablemente tenia que haber algo malo,su pantalla es redonda y su aro de la camara algo mas grande, realmente no afecta eso, lo importante es su táctil es algo trabado, lento, tómalo en cuenta, su panel es como el original o mejor, pero su táctil es algo lento como 90 hz max, si lo ocupas para tareas normales es una buena opción si lo necesitas para juegos y aplicaciones que exigan mas no te lo recomiendo,sin embargo no es mal producto por si quieres probarlo.

The kit comes with everything you need with the exception of a heat gun or hair drier. Once the screen is removed, switching the components over is straight forward and everything fit perfectly into the new unit. Take your time and this repair is nothing to be afraid of. The screen freezes or becomes slow, it is not as the item description says

Screen is blacked out on all 4 sides. Making the available viewing size 2.75 inches wide by 6.12 inches tall. With the factory built screen 2.93 inches wide by 6.19 inches tall. It states right on the product page that the available viewing of the screen would be 6.78 but in reality it is only 6.6 it is terrible. Unfortunately it is already installed on my phone otherwise I would return it. Do not buy this if you want a viewing area close to the original.

I replaced my Samsung s23 ultra screen. The installation was easy, but unfortunately, the first screen had dead pixels, and the second screen did not respond to the touch. I returned both screens and got my money back, so 5 stars for the good customer service and refunding me with no problems!
