The title says it all about the story, the premise is very simple with a person getting reincarnated as Yamcha and being he was a Dragon Ball fan before hand tries to use his knowledge to change Yamchas fate. The jokes are well timed and have a geniune Dragon Ball fell about them and the last bonus chapter is a must read for it's comedic punch. Though the volume is on the shorter side being 134 pages, it's well paced and doesn't overstay it's welcome. The artwork is clean and crisp and sometimes you swear it was drawn by Akira Toriyama. If you are a Dragon Ball fan this is a very easy recommendation. Review: Yamcha actually being cool?! - Yamcha is one of the most universally mocked fictional characters of all time. For many of us, our first introduction to the character was watching Dragon Ball Z. He shows up during the Saiyan Saga with a pretty cool entrance and helps the heroes battle the Saibamen. You're probably thinking: "Hey, this guy looks pretty cool, bet he's an expert and is gonna do something awesome!" And for a while he does.... ...until he gets blown up and his body is curled up in that now meme worthy pose. Since that fight, Yamcha has been treated both in-universe and by fans of the series in general as a joke. But what if that all changed? What if someone more knowledgeable and capable was in Yamcha's place? That's what this story seeks to answer with the writer, dragongarow LEE, showing what would happen if a Dragon Ball fanboy was reincarnated as the former desert bandit. I'm not gonna spoil it, but the book is genuine wish fufillment. Coming from someone who actually likes Yamcha and thinks he should get some more chances to shine, this book is a breath of fresh air. It's just nice to see one of the human fighters (minus Krillin) get some W's. And let's just say that there's a twist near the end of the story that you won't see coming.
