I bought these poppy seeds for two completely different uses — soap making and baking — and they performed amazingly for both. For soap making, the seeds worked perfectly as a natural exfoliant. The texture is smooth but firm, so they give a gentle scrub without being scratchy. They also hold their deep bluish-black color really well in the soap, adding a pretty, speckled look that makes the bars feel more “artisan.” For baking, I ground them up (just a quick blend) and added them to a dessert. The flavor was surprisingly fresh — nutty, slightly sweet, and definitely not stale like some cheaper poppy seeds can be. The aroma when they’re blended is warm and toasty, which tells you they’re high quality. The color is rich and uniform, and the seeds feel clean and dry with no clumping. Overall, a great-quality poppy seed that works beautifully for homemade skincare and tastes amazing in baked goods. Highly recommend!

This is my third time ordering poppy seeds from this brand, and the quality has been consistently excellent. The seeds taste just right — slightly sweet, with no bitterness at all. They’re very fresh and perfect for baking. I use them whenever I crave my favorite childhood pastry. Just steam them with milk and sugar and you get a rich, flavorful poppy seed paste. I’ve tried other brands, but this one has the best taste so far.

My husband adores a good poppy seed roll and we used these to make the filling. They were fresh, excellently flavored and easy to work with (just used a coffee grinder to grind them).

These poppy seeds are very good. The color and smell are just what you’d expect. I use them to make my own everything bagel seasoning. For that they are a good value.
