Having several highly variegated plants has made this a necessity for me. When leaves are mainly white they are prone to browning leaves from the bright sun they need to survive. Adding some silica to the water they receive can make those leaves stronger and less prone to browning or melting. A big win in my book!

I decided to buy the gallon size of Liquid Silica Boost Fertilizer because I loved the smaller bottle—it worked great for my plants! Unfortunately, the gallon version has some issues. The liquid has lumps and debris inside, making it look cloudy instead of clear. I’m not sure what to make of it; maybe I just got a bad batch. It’s disappointing because the smaller size was so good. I hope this is a one-off issue, but it makes me hesitant to buy the gallon again.

This is a good product. I have seen a noticeable difference with my monstera albo. The white in leaves are clean and the plant health has improved. Recommend if you are seeing browning or crispy leaves.

I have noticed my stalks and stems have Ben better and thicker. I should have started using this sooner and best part, it’s made in the USA!!
