Roland RPU-3 Electronic Keyboard Pedal or Footswitch, 3 Pedal (RPU-3)

Works perfectly! Having analog controllers is a major benefit vs digital on/off controllers since they can be assigned to different effects and inputs. Well worth it!

The Roland Fantom 0 series keyboard synths have 3 pedal inputs - 2 assignable controllers and 1 hold. The 3 pedals in this one unit are perfect for this keyboard. I received it on the date it was scheduled to arrive and it was in perfect condition. It took a matter of seconds to plug it in, set it up, and start playing much like the pedals on a wooden acoustic upright piano. It's well worth the price as it's construction is highly durable, attractive, and heavy which helps prevent the unit from sliding all over the place during usage. I highly recommend this to anyone who owns a Roland keyboard that contains 3 pedal inputs.

For a floor unit that isn't attached, I find this unit by Roland a perfect solution. It's a well built unit; nothing cheap about it. The combination of weight and anti-skid pads keep it in place, no problem, whether on carpet or hardwood. I looked seriously at Yamaha, but their 3 pedals only come with the furniture stand; if you want to go mobile, Roland has the answer with this 3 pedal portable unit.

Other reviews are accurate - these are very heavy-duty quality pedals with the real feel of traditional pedals. The value for the money on Amazon was the best I found for this as a new product online. They fit with our Roland FP-60X, and they are portable.

Works well, easy to connect and sturdy for years of use. I paired it with the RD-2000 and very pleased with both excellent products. I also bought the firefly page turner and have it to the left of this unit and it all works really well together with my ipad. I did have to purchase an orchestra stand to put the ipad on as the RD2000 doesn't have a place for sheet music, but I actually like it separate from the keyboard since I can adjust the height. I really like the Roland products, I have the Roland amp too.

A robust (heavy and not going to move on stage) pedal system that gives you all the pedal actions you need for a stage piano. I’m using it as a plug-and-play piano pedal system, but depending on your keyboard it can be programmed to perform a myriad of other functions. My only regret is waiting as long as I did to purchase it.

I love this pedal. It has a really solid feel to it and doesn't travel around the floor, while I'm using it. This is the only pedal, on sale right now (Fall 2011), that has three outputs that plug directly into the three pedal inputs of the Fatar VMK keyboard. The only problem is that it isn't directly compatible Fatar VMK keyboard. But, there is a fix, in three steps: 1) Get a free copy of Plogue Bidule, 2) filter control change values (CC) from 0 to max of 126, 3) use the Bidule output as your midi input. The Plogue Bidule filter adds about 2 milliseconds of delay on my Macbook - not really noticeable. I also tried filtering with Pure Data, but that adds about 20 msec, which is quite noticeable. Works. This was recommended by Roland for my A-88 keyboard. Apparently a fourth pedal is coming to town now >.>...And there are four active pedals and more optional pedals to assign to those four in Pianoteq, so.... I'd love an option to plug in a fourth pedal, but this unit takes up all the three jacks available, and the other 3-pedal units on the market seem to just be on-off switches with just one of the three being a continuous input pedal. So I change up the pedals (in the Pianoteq software) I don't use much for something else I want to try~ It feels considerably heavier than the sustain pedal my keyboard came with (love that one too), but I imagine it's closer in that way to a real piano, and one can get used to it. Seems solid.

Roland A-88（初期型）にある３つの端子に、ペダルを別々に接続していましたが、滑りのよい床で演奏中に移動してしまい、取り廻すケーブルの多さも相まってストレスを感じておりました。RPU-3を思い切って導入したところ、自重でどっしりと安定してくれて、ペダルワークがしっかりできて演奏により集中ができるようになりました。接続ケーブルも３本分が１本にまとまるため、大変満足です。
