The instructions are not very clear but after I figured it out it was easy to set up. Here's how to set the unit up as an extender. You will need a laptop, this unit, the network cable that came with it, and an extension cord (this makes it easy to manage because the network cable in the box is too short). Plug one end of the supplied cable in the LAN port on the unit, the other end goes to the laptop. Plug the extension cord in, connect the unit to the extension cord. Once plugged in, the unit will power up. Open a browser on the laptop and type 192.168.1.254 in the address bar and press enter. The logon page will appear, password is Admin, you can change this after logon. Go to the Wizard to setup as an extender. Disconnect the unit from the extension cord, unplug the network cable and plug the unit in a wall socket anywhere. After figuring this out the setup for the second one for the church took less than 5 minutes.
