Immediately after first use I noticed a much bigger difference of my teeth being not sensitive to air and water. I used to have to keep, not warmed up yet, tap water in my mouth a while before rinsing on the sensitive side. I now no longer need to do this. I definitely recommend this product from this first immediate impression. The tube is smaller than a regular normal toothpaste tube. I did not need use much. I probably used no more than a pinky digit size dollop. This item is expensive and smelled pleasant. My electric toothbrush obliterated the toothpaste so there was a smooth texture when used. That being said, I should have bought an electric toothbrush long ago. I intentionally avoided whitening products. This brand and seems to have it in all their toothpastes. The reason why my teeth is sensitive is due to periodontal work (2 months healing). I was drinking no sugar green tea after surgery and did not realize it worked as a natural teeth desensitizer. I have not been drinking green tea for a couple of months. I will need to see if tea and this item stacks for dulling teeth sensitivity. If I breath through my mouth to intentionally get cause wind to go through my gum area, it hurts. After first brushing with this product, it still hurts, but I can definitely feel it has stopped near the gum line and now only on the top of my teeth. Mind you before the tooth paste the pain would faze me and make me want to stop. I have a good pain threshold. Worth the purchase.

Sensodyne is the only toothpaste I use. I have very sensitive teeth that hurt if I eat or drink something cold and also hurt if I eat or drink something hot. This is quite the dilemma since I do have to eat and most of what I like to eat is hot or cold. Sensodyne has many different types of toothpaste that help protect against hot and cold foods, as well as protect your enamel and gums and even help to whiten your teeth just by brushing. Since this is something everyone should do, Sensodyne is a simple fix. There are several different tastes, I prefer the mint flavor. It might be a bit pricey compared to other brands, but I it's worth it to me because of my sensitivity. I don't believe it is available in a gel version, so that might be a consideration if you prefer that. All in all, I consider Sensodyne a bonus for my teeth which are as old as I am.

Doesn’t contain SLS which is good for gum and overall oral health. Especially since you’re supposed to leave it on overnight without rinsing. Does work well for sensitive teeth and has a gentle mint flavor. Toothpaste lathers well so it’s easy to clean with. No strong whitening effect but that’s to be expected. Whitening trays are always a better option for that

The only toothpaste I've used that doesn't give me dermatitis. But I had purchased a whole bunch of them years ago when they were on sale once and when I finally ran out decided to repurchase on amazon because it was the best deal I could find. They had changed the packaging and the size amount you get in each tube. I am now going through 1 tube every month or less. Which is such a bummer for the price. I do wish the mint was more minty and really gave you that cool/cold breath feeling but it's just a clean mint. very light. does help with tooth sensitivity. very light mint smell as well. smooth texture. not gritty at all. To add to the size portion you get, the whole end of the tube is empty when you get the tubes. They are maybe 75% full.

This seems to make my teeth "harder" and has reduced the "dental maintenance cost and repairs". Seems to "seal the pores" in teeth, which fights off cavities.. I'm not a dentist, but the Dentist I use noticed the change in hardness of my teeth.
