I’ve been using the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the most impressive smartphone gimbals I’ve tried. The setup is super quick — the magnetic mount is strong and reliable, and the gimbal balances my phone perfectly every time. The AI-powered tracking is next-level; it locks onto subjects smoothly and doesn’t lose them, even during fast movements or when I switch angles.

Fantastic product overall as it makes videoing and taking photos & selfies so much more fun and most importantly, it is easy to use. The stabilisation is excellent and makes footage smooth & professional even when I’m moving around. There are lots of features in a small gadget and I would definitely recommend downloading and using the app for this!

Great Gimbal, just the right addition for anybody looking to upgrade their setup. What I liked was the fact that it's got a solid build quality so I've got not concerns there at all. Usually, gimbals are quiet weighty but this one was well balanced. Not really sure what the AI part of it did apart from control weight so it did feel a bit gimmicky

Je n’avais jamais utilisé de stabilisateur avant, et l’Insta360 Flow 2 Pro m’a vraiment impressionné. Il est très simple à prendre en main : on le sort de la boîte, on connecte le téléphone en Bluetooth, et on peut commencer à filmer presque tout de suite. L’application Insta360 aide énormément. Elle guide pas à pas, propose des astuces, et permet même d’ajuster facilement les réglages. C’est super rassurant quand on débute, et ça permet d’avoir de très bons résultats sans s’y connaître en vidéo. Même en marchant ou en bougeant rapidement, la stabilisation est excellente. L’image reste fluide, sans tremblements, ce qui donne un rendu très pro, même en tenant simplement le téléphone à la main. Il se plie facilement, tient bien en main, et l’autonomie est très bonne (plusieurs heures de tournage). Je l’utilise avec un téléphone Android, ça fonctionne très bien, même si certaines options sont un peu plus poussées sur iPhone. Franchement, si vous débutez et que vous voulez faire de belles vidéos sans vous compliquer la vie, ce stabilisateur est un excellent choix. Je recommande !

I've been using the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro for the past three months, using it as my primary mobile gimbal. The original Insta360 Flow was already a market leader, so my main question was whether the "Pro" sequel was a worthy upgrade or just an incremental update. After 90 days, my conclusion is this: If you are an iPhone user, the Flow 2 Pro is not just an upgrade; it's the gimbal you've been waiting for. For Android users, it's a bit more complicated. The Upgrades: Apple DockKit Integration - The original Flow's amazing AI tracking (Deep Track) was locked inside the Insta360 app. The Flow 2 Pro integrates with Apple's DockKit, which means you get that incredible AI subject tracking in your native iPhone Camera app. I can't overstate how much this improves the workflow. I can track myself, my kids, or my dog without leaving the simple, high-quality interface of the iPhone's camera. Even better, it works in other apps. I've used it in FaceTime (no more manually adjusting the phone), and I've tested it in the Blackmagic app, which is incredible for pro-level video. This one feature has tripled the amount I use this gimbal. Insta360 didn't just stop at software. After 3 months, these are the hardware upgrades I've come to rely on: 1. 360° Infinite Pan: The original Flow had a limited pan range. The Flow 2 Pro can spin infinitely. This is fantastic for "vortex" shots, but more practically, it means the gimbal never gets "stuck" when I'm tracking a subject that walks around me. 2. Free Tilt Mode: This new mode (which is a bit awkward to engage at first) lets you tilt the phone 360°, allowing for "crane" shots and ultra-low-angle filming that just wasn't possible before. It's a genuinely creative tool. 3. The Little Things: The built-in selfie mirror is genuinely useful for framing shots with the superior rear camera. The new tracking ring light is a clear visual cue for when tracking is locked. Long-Term Reliability and Battery Life After 3 months of being folded, unfolded, and tossed in a bag, the build quality is holding up perfectly. The folding mechanism is still snappy, and the (reportedly wider) tripod legs feel very stable. The battery life is rated at 10 hours, which is technically a "downgrade" from the original Flow's 12 hours. In practice, I have not once run this battery down in a single day. It easily lasts through a full day of vlogging and shooting. I suspect the more powerful motors for the 360-pan and the new DockKit features are the reason for the 10-hour life, and it's a trade-off I'll take any day. Any Downsides? My only minor gripe is that engaging the new "Free Tilt Mode" requires a slightly awkward twist of the gimbal arm. It's not intuitive at first, but you get used to it. Also, while my unit has been flawless, (and I've seen some online reports of early models having sleep-mode bugs), I can only report that mine has been 100% reliable. Conclusion: Who is this for? • For iPhone 12-15+ users: This is an absolute must-buy. The DockKit integration alone is worth the price of admission. It turns your iPhone into a smart cameraman. • For Android users: You get all the great hardware upgrades (360-pan, Free Tilt), but you don't get the DockKit magic. The tracking is still excellent within the Insta360 app, but it's not the seamless native experience iPhone users get. It's a fantastic gimbal, but the "Pro" value is less pronounced. This is the most advanced, portable, and intelligent smartphone gimbal on the market, especially if you're in the Apple ecosystem.
