I couldnโt pass up the Black Friday deal. 13.000lbs winch for a Pathfinder R50, 2000. It was easy to install, i did the hidden winch tray (under the bumper). Fits very well and looks good. Simple design, sober but robust. No bell and whistles, jus a robust winch. The winch is IP68, with synthetic rope. One flaw fot now, the hook felt on the ground and the "lip" broke. I just tension the rope with another Pathfinder, and so far, so good. The noise is aceptable and works good. i would give 4.5 and no 5, because of the hook. ----**** UPDATE APRIL 2026 ****---- After some recoveries, the winch felt and worked really good. My rig weights 2.300Kg (more or less). One recovery was done at almost 90ยฐ angle and it was smooth, cero problems.

Works far better than expected on a 5k lbs rig.
I love this winch. I tested it a couple times but today was my 1st real use. Zero issues. My rig is 5k lbs and was high centered. It worked perfectly. No strain, smooth power, easy control and fast cleanup. I bought it on Black Friday sale but would get it at regular price.

Feels heavy duty
I got this as a gift for my fatherโs Jeep Wrangler. I couldnโt pass up the Black Friday deal at $287. The synthetic rope version was exactly what my dad was looking for. He said it felt very solid and was easy to mount. It only took him about 30 minutes to install. Hopefully it serves him well, in upstate NY. This particular model in IP68, but heโll be purchasing a cover to take additional precautions to protect it.

No good help please!
I hooked this winch up exactly as explained in the directions with color coating and it seems like the brake is dragging heating up the motor and winch wires in a matter of a few inches of unspooling the winch rope. Can i get some assistance please?

Fantastic product heavy duty very easy to install, works and operates great also I recommend an inline fuse relay and I also recommend the winch cover also very well made. Also spoke with Xbull rep directly and his customer service was fantastic and efficient

Plastic cover came broken, probably happened in transit. After messaging the seller they sent a new one right away. Excellent customer service and a good product.
