What's Great, and What's Missing (I fill in the missing deets for you)
If you're on the fence, just get them. These cards are elegant, simple, and absolutely beautiful. What I love most: • The artwork is subtle yet stunning—each card features a soft, detailed watermark-style image behind the text. • The cards include so much helpful info without being cluttered: Title, Guide, Keywords, Reversed Keywords, Yes/No/Maybe, Element, and Numberology. • They're smooth, flexible, and easy to shuffle—perfect for small hands (like mine!). What I wish they included: The only missing piece is the directional association. If you're already familiar with the basics of tarot, this won’t be a dealbreaker—but it’s worth noting. Here’s a quick refresher on the elemental and directional correspondences, including the court card elemental pairings, which many beginners overlook: ________________________________________ Tarot Card Element & Direction Quick Reference ________________________________________ Major Arcana • The Fool – Air – East • The Magician – Fire – South • The High Priestess – Water – West • The Empress – Earth – North • The Emperor – Fire – South • The Hierophant – Earth – North • The Lovers – Air – East • The Chariot – Water – West • Strength – Fire – South • The Hermit – Earth – North • Wheel of Fortune – Spirit – Center • Justice – Air – East • The Hanged Man – Water – West • Death – Water – West • Temperance – Spirit – Center • The Devil – Earth – North • The Tower – Fire – South • The Star – Spirit – Center • The Moon – Water – West • The Sun – Fire – South • Judgment – Fire – South • The World – Earth/Spirit – North/Center ________________________________________ Minor Arcana Swords (Air – East) • Ace through 10 of Swords – Air – East Wands (Fire – South) • Ace through 10 of Wands – Fire – South Cups (Water – West) • Ace through 10 of Cups – Water – West Pentacles (Earth – North) • Ace through 10 of Pentacles – Earth – North ________________________________________ Court Cards Pages (Earth of each suit) • Page of Swords – Earth of Air – East • Page of Wands – Earth of Fire – South • Page of Cups – Earth of Water – West • Page of Pentacles – Earth of Earth – North Knights (Air of each suit) • Knight of Swords – Air of Air – East • Knight of Wands – Air of Fire – South • Knight of Cups – Air of Water – West • Knight of Pentacles – Air of Earth – North Queens (Water of each suit) • Queen of Swords – Water of Air – East • Queen of Wands – Water of Fire – South • Queen of Cups – Water of Water – West • Queen of Pentacles – Water of Earth – North Kings (Fire of each suit) • King of Swords – Fire of Air – East • King of Wands – Fire of Fire – South • King of Cups – Fire of Water – West • King of Pentacles – Fire of Earth – North

Simple and Helpful, But a Bit Too Basic
The GINCEVHY 78 Clear Text Pattern Tarot Deck is a clever idea — each card lists key meanings and characteristics, which makes it easy to learn without constantly referencing a guidebook. It’s clean, minimal, and great for quick study sessions or beginners who want to memorize core themes. The color is as advertised, and the size is like a deck of cards. That said, it feels a little too simplified for my taste. I found myself wishing for more depth or symbolism to connect with. Still, it’s a useful tool for learning and a nice addition to any tarot collection, especially for those who prefer a straightforward, text-based approach.

Easy Learning
Simple and clean looking cards. Gives good description of what each card represents. Even has a faded image in the background of the cards.

Great for Starters BUT NOT as an ONLY source
Do not stop studying the cards. These cards have some interesting typos and have a mix of the two variants of the meanings and how they should be interpreted (A.E. Waite vs Pamela Colman Smith - The Star and the The Empress for example). The Royal Suits have something new for me even but not necessarily a bad thing (saying Element Water of Fire / Element Fire of Air instead of the normal Element of ______ like everything else). Otherwise I do like these cards; they call to me and I can’t bring myself to return them even though I normally would, they are powerful and still accurate and they are great I think for learning basics and getting into Tarot as a starter, just remember that Tarot is a constant learning experience.

Love this little deck!
I was pleasantly surprised by this deck, especially for the price. Clean eggshell color. Lots of excellent info on the cards. Good card stock and nice size that fits in the palm of your hand. Great buy!
