Does copper present in antifouling paint effects tramex skipper plus boat moisture meter readings?

I have found the moisture meter to detect a stainless steel or steel tank inside the hull or chainplates inside the hull Also the intersection on the lead or steel keel and the grp hull . As for the copper content in antifouling paint I would say yes to your question. Most wooden hulls as in work boats and pleasure, immersed in water most of the time the meter will record a high moisture contend. sound the hull with a hammer as most surveyors would do.
