I am returning this piece of junk because it does not simultaneous audio output from line-out and headphones jack. you must press the switch to select which output is active... even my motherboard integrated cheap soundcard can output audio from headphone jack and line out jack at the same time

Really good gaming DAC/AMP! I was surprised by it's massive output power, even with my 250 ohm headphones I have to put it at a low setting.

Bastante contento con el DAC, es facil de usar a nivel de botones, tienes dos grandes ruedas, una para volumen y otra para chatmix, lo cual es muy util. PROS - chatmix con cualquier aplicacion por separado de los auriculares. - Software muy facil de usar, con varios presets de ecualización. CONS - No tiene boton de apagado. se queda encendido mientras esté el USB enchufado, o que lo conectes a un USB que se apague al apagar el PC. - Si haces lo de arriba, algunas veces no se conecta correctamente, teniendo que desenchufar y enchufar para que el ordenador lo detecte. - La gran dependencia sobre el software, me gustaria mas un DAC mas físico, menos dependiente de configuraciones y EQs en la aplicación.

Incredible device. Brings all the functionality of my Steelseries Arctis headphones to my audiophile headphones. Highly recommend! Also the sidetone is instant as long as all mic effects are turned off :)

I got my Sound Blaster G8 today and have been testing it with a few different setups. When it’s working, it’s honestly fantastic. The sound quality through TOSLINK (optical) and USB is clear and powerful. I’m running it with my PC, PS5, and one TOSLINK device, and all three play perfectly together at the same time. Mixing digital sources works flawlessly — clean output, no lag, and no interference at all. Even the AUX OUT works great. Litle noise, no distortion, just solid, clean audio out to my speakers or amp. But then I tried enabling AUX IN, and everything fell apart. The moment AUX IN is active a high-pitched whining noise takes over and completely destroys the audio. It doesn’t matter what cables or devices you use; as soon as AUX IN is on, everything else breaks. Disable it in the APP!!!!!!!!! ⚠️ WARNING: I’ve attached a short video showing the issue, but please turn your volume way down before watching. The noise is piercing and could actually hurt your ears or damage your speakers. It’s a shame because the G8 is incredible as a digital audio hub, and AUX OUT is totally fine. But AUX IN? Total dealbreaker if u need it. Pros: ✅ Excellent sound over USB and TOSLINK ✅ Works perfectly with PC, PS5, and optical input ✅ AUX OUT is clean and reliable ✅ Mixes multiple digital sources with ease Cons: ❌ AUX IN introduces a loud, high-pitched noise ❌ No fix or workaround available Final Verdict: The Sound Blaster G8 is an amazing device if you stay digital. USB, TOSLINK, and even AUX OUT all perform flawlessly. But the AUX IN input ruins everything — avoid it completely if you value your audio setup.
