Very useful item
Works as it should. Very handy item. Keeps old leaders and tippets neatly stored until you can dispose of them properly.

Very useful tool that keeps our waters cleaner.
This line manager is small and simple. I can quickly take short or long pieces of line and make them stay put until I get off of the water and can properly dispose of them. Great product.

Excellent used line holder
An ouststanding device for storing used tippet and leader while fishing. I have typically put used tippet and leader in my pocket, but then it often comes out when I go into my pocket for something so this tool is an impressive solution that I really like.

Great customer service!! handy item
I really want to keep plastics and trash out of the river side. And spent tippet/ mono is hard to "wrangle." This is the best item to do this easily. I wholly recommend it. I even had the foam in the stirrup go away somehow, and Robert in Customer service was incredibly proactive in sending a replacement and a short video he fashioned to insert and repair the tool. I think it shows the pride and integrity Smith Creek puts into their products. Yes, a bit pricey, but you DO get what you pay for.

Fantastic little device
This little device is excellent for holding onto spent/trimmed line on the water -- MUCH better than those little mini-garbage can things. This is easy to use, no fumbling, quick, and holds your waste line securely until you get off the water and can dispose of line properly. No messing around with a bird's nest full of line while you're trying to re-tie and get your line back in the water .. keeps spent line secure. I've got at least a couple of these -- as a fly fisherman, I think they're indispensable. If you're one of those guys that just throws spent line overboard or on the shore, do us all a favor and buy one of these -- excellent product!

Easy to use but expensive
This device for keeping waste fishing line is very easy to use but pretty expensive. I haven't found a better, easier to use product to keep waste fishing leader and tippett ends so this is my second one. My first lasted about 3 years before the foam that holds the waste mono/flouro lost enough integrity so it no longer held the less than 3x size tippett.

Best Solution Out There For Tippet Disposal
This thing is awesome. I had been using one of the FishPond Micro Trash Cans to hold my tippet. It worked ok but it was very difficult to get the hair like tippet to come off your fingers and stay in the container. Then when you had a very short piece of tippet to dispose of the FishPond was nearly impossible to get the piece into. My wife was bitching about the TrashPond Micro Trash Can and I got this to make her happy (especially because she loves to fly fish and she can row a drift boat - she is the best). The Trash Fish solved the disposal dilemma with an elegant solution and made my wife happy. Short pieces of tippet or longer pieces are easy to contain on this thing. One word of caution - if you try to put a entire leader (nearly full length) it will not work too well - a full tippet coiled up will be to bulky for the Trash Fish. So just roll it around your fingers, wrap the end around that and tie it up like you would a long rope and then slide a single loop of that tippet mess onto the Trash Fish. That works fine and will hold it until you can dispose of it. Great quality product. It is the best solution I have found for handling that waste tippet.
