A cheap way to add Carplay Or Android Auto
First time buying a product like this. But in my case was a necessary purchase. Installed on a 2014 Ford Mustang without the factory touchscreen radio. Would cost $2-300 to change the bezel out for that. So this is my immediate and cheaper option. I went with Krunia because there photos and videos I looked at really made it feel legit. And the fact the screen can be in portrait mode. Really makes it different than other brands. The device was delivered to me yesterday night. And came in a lovely well packaged box. The note in the envelope made me feel like they went the extra mile with packaging. For $43 I wasnt expecting it to be so nicely packaged. In the box you will find the warranty card in the envelope along with the note. Underneath the is the screen and underneath that is the plug ins , mounting system , aux cord and another mountain pad for the dash. Once plugged into the car. The screen instantly comes on and works perfectly when touching it. Very responsive. Once you press on carplay or android auto itll pop up with how to connect via your phones wifi and bluetooth. Or you can connect via FM transmitter for audio as well. Once connected to android auto in my case. It connected immediately with no problems. Everything is there and works as it should. Maps , music and phone work perfectly. Also as seen in the photos I added. Some say theres no dark mode. But as you can See in my case there is. Pretty sure you have to go into dark mode through the maps settings itself in the screen. Or when I connected an iPhone it was already in automatic dark mode. Also the regular home screen is very easy to use. Not many options except what you immediately need to use. The brightness of the unit is good for the price of the unit. Doesn't get extremely bright but not dark either. And when its dark at night its perfectly dark enough. Once set to the lowest setting. As you can See in my case it can mounted 2 different ways on the dash. But the way that worked for me was on the top of the dash sitting flat. With the added sticky mount. This way there is no movement at all if im going over a bump or shakyness while driving. In my situation I connected the device to play music via its FM transmitter to my cars radio. Which is my case on this car is way easier to connect then blueooth. For others it maybe easier to connect blueooth to play music. But if you like to listen to the radio like I do. You can still have access to listen to your other stations. Although if your on the phone youll want to switch over to your connected station on your radio to the device so you can hear who's talking. Some cars after you turn them off all the power goes off. In the mustang there seems to be constant power. Once your turn off the car the screen won't automatically turn off. Make sure you press the red bottom on top to turn off the screen. And when you want to use it again just tap the screen. Now if your worried about it draining your battery even though the screens off youll have to unplug the unit. But its easy to plug back in if so. From the USB c cable on the side or 12v outlet itself. For me its been a non issue so far. Submitting an application for there warranty was very easy. And there is multiple ways to do so. Submitted it and in 10 min got an email back saying its activated. All in all im very pleased with this portable touchscreen radio. For the price and how much the company seems to care about there own product. I think its a good buy for anyone looking for a cheap option to get carplay or android auto. If anything is wrong with the product ill update my review. But as of 8/19/2025. Im currently having no issues.

7" Carplay unit using Android Auto
From the minute it came out of the box I knew it was a winner. It is impressive in multiple ways. For me the size is perfect. The unit is feather lite, and coupled with a CD slot mount is neatly nestled in just the right spot and rock solid. The display is stunning. Both bright and sharp. Once the BT connection is established it is ready to rock. I am not alone having issues connecting to BT audio. It wasn't until I plugged in the auxiliary cord that the sound menu behind the speaker symbol on the floating button displayed the menu for audio output choices displayed and allowed me to switch over and change to BT audio. After that no more intervention. Also, I use a standard A to C usb cord instead of the supplied cord with the FM transmitter as I have no need. All in all this is a stunning performer that defies logic at this price. If you are looking for a multi media head unit this isn't it, but it lacks nothing in the core CP/AA department. Buy it. No regrets in your future.

Good price for what I needed
I was very frustrated to realize the "infotainment" screen in my 2017 Forester didn't work with Google Maps. I thought I could get away with using it on my phone with a wireless charger but quickly realized that makes the phone overheat. I have a big trip to NYC planned, so that would be unfortunate to happen. Since it's really the only functionality I wanted to add, I was happy to find this product so reasonably priced. The good: 7 inches is plenty big enough for my dashboard. Not looking for an iMax screen while I drive. The touchscreen is responsive (could be sharper, maybe, but again, don't need high def). The menu is straightforward. I appreciate the USB-C power option (a lot of products I looked at had lighter socket plugs only). I love how it's easily removable from the mount so you can take with you when parking in sketchy areas. Steering wheel controls and voice recognition controls work well (but it turns out your phone is still the brains of the operation. If you connect your phone to the car speakers, I'm pretty sure that's what's making those controls work (I don't care as long as they work, I'm just wondering if this is then true of all these units).) And, of course, Maps works well and is really easy to see while driving. For the not-so-good, the suction cup mount would not work for me. I have an old CD slot mount for my phone that works with it, though, since the unit is very lightweight. Second, connectivity seems to need some work (or maybe I'm doing something wrong). It sends my phone a pairing request every single time that needs to be clicked on (annoying). Every single time it asks to install Android Auto, even though I've done so already (since this is a system app, I guess I'm still not clear how it works). It does connect eventually (maybe a minute later) after 2 or 3 "failed to connect" errors. Maybe it's fighting with the car trying to connect at the same time. I don't drive every day, so maybe this is user error. Hopefully I'll figure it out. In summary, this is everything I needed at a great price so I can't complain about much.

Things not mentioned.
I did lots of research before I purchased this Krunia 7" screen and it didn't help. I just picked it because of the portrait mode and low price. I am glad I made this choice because it is great! I am sure you have seen all the other reviews about how fast it is and how great the screen is, and I agree. So I am going to go over the things I haven't seen mentioned in other reviews. First it is very light and that is perfect for me because I was worried about using an air-vent mount, but it's really light weight helps to make it stable even on a vent mount, BTW the really big retail and grocery store, their house brand 9.88 cell phone mount Kit, has a windshield mount plus a cup holder and a vent mount package and they all work great with the ball on the back of this screens factory mount. They don't show a picture of it but there is a spot for a camera on the back, maybe they have other models with cameras and they share a case? It is not a problem for me, but they don't show that in the pictures. Another thing is all of the inputs are on one of the narrow sides of the screen and when you switch the device to portrait mode, the screen only rotates one way and this puts all of the inputs facing up. Personally I would have thought the inputs down would have been better since most power outlets are lower and would have made it easier to run the power cord. Speaking of the power cord, this will absolutely only work with it's included power cord adapter. That is a little disappointing because my factory stereo has a USB port right on the face and I could have got by with a little 6" cable. My USB port has the exact same power voltage as the included power adapter, but the Krunia power adapter itself has the FM transmitter built into it and the screen basically needs a handshake with the FM transmitter to initialize and stay powered on. I watched reviews on other units and some complained about the simulated button on the screen that pulls up the main menu, well on this Krunia you can turn that simulated button off. Also, this unit doesn't have the boot screen with a black Bugatti like so many others have, if that matters to you. Some units say Dual Bluetooth and this Krunia doesn't say that in the specs or when you use the Amazon AI for answers. What I know is I use Carplay and the way it works is, my phone connects to the Krunia screen over my phones wi-fi, and my phone also connects to my factory stereos Bluetooth and this way everything works perfectly. My steering wheel buttons all work to answer a call, vol up/ down, next song or channel. One last thing, there is a clickable power button on top of the fake camera, so if where you plug it in has constant power, you can turn it off. The quality of this device and the technology make this this the best purchase I have made in a long time.

A Nice Update for an Old Car
Used with a 2007 Honda, I really like it. It connects to my phone via Bluetooth and to the car stereo by the FM modulator. The sound is good, on par with FM broadcast radio although it does require turning up the volume compared to listening to FM. Features are pretty basic but work well. The software limits you to Android Auto, Car Play and Air Play which is all I wanted anyway. The included power cord is both long and includes a USB power jack at the lighter plug which allows for many ways to run the cable to the unit without losing the ability to charge the phone. I hacked a CD mount so didn't use the included mount which looks sturdy. The screen is responsive and the perfect size for my car. The screen orientation is controlled by a button on the screen as opposed to be being automatically detected. It is nice having the vertical option when using navigation apps although a little cumbersome to switch to. Inputs include a USB C port used for power, a micro SD card port which I haven't figured out any function for and a camera in and AUX out port which I haven't tried. There is no built in camera although the rear of the case has a blank where it looks like one could have been installed. Call quality is acceptable.

paid more for less
Not as advertised in terms of GPS. I got this for that alone and find it hard to connect with some phones and no GPS beyond what my phone provides. I am happy with the quality of the screen, speed of unit and ease of figuring out the unit but it did not deliver all promised. If you use as extension of phone alone it is great.

Speaker is horrible, otherwise 👍
A wonderful android auto display (in my case) that functions appropriately and displays all the info that you would expect from the display. The screen is bright and response to touch and menus is snappy! Two glaring issues...the display always stays in the bright day mode, even at night where it does not change over to the dark mode to make it easier on the eyes. Most importantly in my case is the built in speaker is absolutely awful. This may not be an issue for those using aux/fm transmitter option, but for my elderly mother she would rely solely on that built in speaker. In all honesty, it shouldn't even have been included because you can hear absolutely nothing from it, it is more like a whisper. If sitting in a quiet room you can barely hear it, can't imagine on a busy road..

Pretty nice device
The connection was quite and easy, the car charger has a USB port which is good. I can use it to charger my phone, because your phone will drill. I like the length of the cord. The mount is nice , it slim and the base of the mount is small which makes easy to place the device on the dashboard without get in the way. It also makes the device hang perfect. The screen looks nice and doesn't look cheap, like the last two I tried. The sound is nice. For the price this is the device to buy.

Schermo eccellente + assistenza Krunia TOP
Installazione semplicissima (jack diretto R-CAM). Qualità costruttiva ottima, orientamento verticale/orizzontale, comandi al volante funzionanti. Per il prezzo è un affare strepitoso. ASSISTENZA 5 stelle - da solo vale l’acquisto. Consiglio vivamente.

Good fixing kit. Long warranty. Good customer service team. Easy to fit. Doddle to use
Krunia 7" Android screen. I bought this knowing it wouldnt get used much, just now n then as my journey to/from work is only a 10 minute drive so only really needed it for longer journeys. I didn't want to pay loads for it to be only used occasionally, so I read the reviews for Krunias 7" unit that came in well under my budget. I saw all the positive reviews and thought why not? It has everything I need and doesn't break the bank, Comes in way under the big names in this field. Connection was easy enough, the hardest thing was deciding where it could go in the car. It needs to be close to hand but not blocking air vents, radio controls or heater settings. Anyway it's fitted well within arms reach for touch screen controls and works a treat, build quility is good, fitting kit is excellent and it's easy to set up and use. The power cable is long enough as is the AUX cable that I'm using to connect to my cars built in audio unit. I prefer it wired than Bluetooth, as I prefer the sound and more solid connection. It's well worth the price, and does everything the "big brands" do but costs way less, also has a good customer service team and long warranty just incase things go pear shaped. Gets a well deserved 5 Star review from me knowing I've got a decent unit but saved quit a few quid by buying from Krunia.

Excellent Portable CarPlay Screen – Smooth and Easy to Use!
I recently purchased the Krunia 7" Wireless Portable 60FPS CarPlay Screen and I’ve been very impressed with it. Setup was quick and simple — I had it up and running in just a few minutes without any complicated installation. The 60FPS refresh rate makes a noticeable difference. The screen is smooth, clear, and very responsive whether I use it in portrait or landscape mode. Wireless CarPlay connects almost instantly, and I’ve also tried Android Auto which works just as well. The voice control is accurate and makes it easy to stay hands-free, while Bluetooth works seamlessly for calls and music. I also like that it supports mirror link and GPS navigation — perfect for trips when I need my maps visible at a glance. What I really appreciate is that it’s portable — I don’t need to replace my car’s existing system, and I can move it between vehicles if needed. It feels like a great upgrade without the hassle or cost of installing a built-in system. Overall, this device has made my driving experience much smoother and safer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto solution at a very reasonable price.
